Yacob tallied one assist and took one shot in Monday's 1-0 win over Newcastle United.

Yacob is a key cog in the West Bromwich Albion midfield, but on the fantasy front, he's not much more than a blip on the radar. His defensive duties in the Baggies midfield hinder his ability to get forward and produce on the offensive side of the ball. The assist was a nice touch and came at a key moment in the match, but it was just his first ever since joining West Brom in 2012.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Yacob is starting Saturday against Swansea City after returning from bereavement leave.

Yacob hasn't been a big fantasy contributor this season, so while his return is certainly a plus, there aren't likely many fantasy managers jumping at the opportunity to add him to their rosters.

Yacob will be available for the Boxing Day match after returning from bereavement leave.

The Argentine will be available for the first time since November after leaving to attend to a personal matter, but his level of fitness will likely determine his availability for the match. Chris Brunt and Craig Gardner have seen additional playing time in Yacob's absence, but the 28-year-old is likely to feature if he is deemed fit ahead of Saturday's matchup.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Yacob served his one-game suspension and will be available for selection Sunday versus Liverpool.

He's one of the better player for the Baggies this season and will have a key role in defense against the Reds. However, he's not a fantasy factor and his return won't affect many rosters.

Yacob is suspended for one game due to yellow card accumulation.

The Argentine picked up his fifth caution in a forgettable game for his standards. He'll miss the important home fixture with the Spurs, however, he won't figure to be sorely missed in fantasy land.

Yacob is eligible for Saturday's match against QPR after serving a suspension.

Despite the return, Yacob still figures to be a minimal fantasy impact in nearly all formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Yacob received a red card just 28 minutes into Saturday's 2-0 loss to Chelsea.

Yacob made a reckless two-footed lunge on Chelsea striker Diego Costa and picked up a straight red card as a result. Yacob's dismissal had little effect on the result as West Brom were already two goals behind following strikes from Costa and Eden Hazard. The Argentinean midfielder was making his first start of the season and will now be unavailable for at least one game.
