Ramirez will not play in either of Hull City's two remaining matches as a hamstring injury has prompted the on-loan midfielder to shut down for the rest of the season, reports the Hull Daily Mail.

It has been a disappointing season for Ramirez as he finishes with just one goal and two assists in 23 appearances. It is unlikely Ramirez will return to Hull City next season despite reports of Southampton being willing to shop him around again this summer. A return to Serie A may be likely for the midfielder.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ramirez will not play Saturday against Southampton, as he is ineligible to face his parent club.

Ramirez has shown an ability to get involved offensively but he just doesn't produce enough to make much of a fantasy impact.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ramirez has been deemed fit to face Swansea City on Saturday after recovering from a quad injury suffered during the international break, the club's official website reports.

Ramirez has been used in a variety of roles his season, all in the attacking part of the pitch, and he is likely to maintain his starting spot despite the return of Mohamed Diame, though that may be shortlived.

Ramirez attempted four shots while assisting on another six attempts but was unable to pick up a goal or assist in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Chelsea.

Ramirez's four shot attempts were a bit of a surprise as he had not attempted any in each of his last four appearances. The Hull City midfielder has just one goal and one assist on the season an both of those were picked up during a Boxing Day victory over Sunderland. Despite the impressive peripheral stat total from this weekend, he is expected to have little fantasy value going forward as those numbers are not likely to be repeated.

Ramirez created three scoring chances and attempted six crosses before being subbed off in the 85th minute of Saturday's 0-0 draw at Leicester City.

Ramirez has struggled to create many opportunities lately and his fantasy value has suffered. He has not scored or assisted on a goal since doing both in a December 26 match against Sunderland and should not be expected to be a consistent contributor for the rest of the season.

Ramirez was included in Hull City's 18-man roster for Sunday's match against West Ham United but did not come off the match during the 3-0 defeat.

Ramirez has logged just two appearances since his one goal and one assist performance against Sunderland in December. He continues to have little fantasy value as he is not a significant contributor to the Hull City attack even when healthy.

Ramirez was expected to return from a groin injury in mid-February, however, he is progressing faster than anticipated and could be fit for Saturday's match against West Ham United, reports the Hull Daily Mail.

Injuries to the three leading goalscorers for Hull City could be driving the quick return and make Ramirez one of the best scoring options available to the club for the next couple of weeks. However, a trip to West Ham United does not provide a great chance to contribute much fantasy value.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ramirez will likely miss four to six weeks after injuring his groin in the match against Leicester City at the end of 2014.

Ramirez had seen an increase in playing time just before getting injured. However, he had scored just one goal and one assist this season and remains a low-end fantasy option.
