Benteke took four shots (two on target) in Monday's goalless draw against Arsenal.

Benteke had a tap-in miraculously saved by Petr Cech in the first half and saw much of his space closed down by Gabriel in the second half. The big Belgian has changed Liverpool's style of play, preferring to bomb balls over the top and play a more direct style, which has led to them taking seven of nine available points to open the season. He'll look to add to his goal sheet in the team's next fixture against West Ham.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke scored his first goal for Liverpool on Monday, when his 26th minute strike earned the Reds a 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

Benteke's goal was a simple tap-in at the back post following a free kick that actually could have drawn an offside call on Liverpool. Nonetheless, the Belgian has now opened his Anfield account and appeared more in-sync with his new teammates Monday. That development should provide him with a nice confidence boost as the Reds prepare for next Monday's trip to Arsenal.

Benteke took one shot (not on target) while playing the full 90 minutes in Sunday's victory over Stoke City.

After scoring 13 goals in 29 Premier League appearances for Aston Villa last season, Benteke was brought in to bolster the Liverpool attack to make up for the loss of Raheem Sterling. In his opening appearance, Benteke was mostly quiet, firing his only shot off target. After ending the season with 11 goals in his final 11 games, the Belgian forward will look to regain that form for Liverpool.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke is starting Sunday against Stoke City.

There was a small bit of concern that Benteke wasn't quite match fit after playing just once in a Liverpool kit, but he'll get the start in the opener, with Danny Ings and Divock Origi available off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke officially signed with Liverpool on Wednesday after transferring from Aston Villa.

Liverpool reportedly met Benteke's 32.5 million release clause to bring him to Anfield, and he is expected to slot right into the starting lineup with his new club. He is an elite scorer who has legitimate 20-goal upside if he stays fit, and he is a huge get for Liverpool, who also added Danny Ings to their attacking front this offseason.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke looks set to join Liverpool after the club triggers his 32.5 million release clause, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Benteke has been linked with Liverpool all summer, though Aston Villa were intent on forcing the Reds to trigger the release clause rather than selling their Belgian attacker for less. Benteke has legitimate 25-goal potential and would be a huge boost to Liverpool if they can effectively use his skills in the box.

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood is anticipated to break the team's wage ceiling in order to convince Benteke to stay with the club, reports the Daily Mail.

Interest in Benteke has grown toward the end of the season, and it is known that he has a 32.5 million release clause. Aston Villa appear willing to discuss a significant increase in his weekly pay in order to keep him at the club, though.

Roma has stepped up their interest in a potential transfer move for Benteke this summer, joining a host of Premier League clubs who have also shown interest, according to the Daily Mail.

Aston Villa is hoping they can keep the striker at the club, but his current form has attracted plenty of rumors. Villa value Benteke at 30 million.
