RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke missed a penalty kick in Saturday's 1-0 loss against West Ham. He took his time on the PK and put it wide of the net, leaving Palace with zero points, while taking four shots in all.

Benteke had picked up a recent run of success over the last month in league and international play, but he couldn't put the ball in the net on a wet night against West Ham. At Leicester next, it'll be even tougher for Benteke to get opportunities.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke scored a goal on three shots (one on target) and was issued a yellow card in Friday's 1-1 draw with Everton.

The oft-maligned striker fell out of favor at Liverpool, but one team's trash is Alan Pardew's treasure, having brought in equally miscast players such as Yohan Cabaye (from PSG) and Loic Remy (on loan from Chelsea) to help increase the quality of his side. Since coming into the starting XI, Benteke has three goals in five matches with the team securing three wins and two draws in that span. While he can run a bit hot-and-cold and can be iced out by a strong back-four, his nose for goal and willingness to shoot from anywhere gives him stats whether or not he finds the back of the net.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke headed home the final goal in stoppage time in Saturday's 3-2 win at Sunderland. He finished with a ridiculous eight shots and 10 aerials won.

With little defense played in the match, Benteke was a force up front. It was a good sign from Benteke, who's had somewhat of a slow start to his time at Palace. He'll have a tough match at Everton next.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke scored with his only shot in Saturday's 2-1 win at Boro.

His first goal since arriving at Palace, Benteke showed the brute power that Liverpool thought they were getting last season. Against lesser teams such as Middlesbrough, Benteke has the ability to physically dominate CBs. He's worth a strong look for next week against a struggling Stoke defense.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke created two chances in Crystal Palace's 1-1 draw at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.

No, Benteke did not score a hat-trick on his debut but he was quietly effective and could have had himself an assist if Yohan Cabaye had slotted home his penalty in the first half. With ammunition from Andros Townsend, Wilfried Zaha, Cabaye et al, there's little doubt that Benteke will be a success.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke is starting on Saturday against Bournemouth.

In his first Premier League action for his new club, Benteke will start up front with Connor Wickham, as Andros Townsend and Jason Puncheon start on the wings. Benteke has tremendous fantasy upside when he gets the playing time, which should be the case now with the Eagles.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke started midweek for Crystal Palace in the League Cup, but may not be ready for another start so soon this Saturday against Bournemouth.

Having not seen much time in the preseason, it appears Benteke isn't ready to take on a full 90 minutes after only making it 45 minutes in the League Cup win. All signs point to Connor Wickham getting the start with Benteke likely being used as a substitute Saturday.
