Manager Tim Sherwood challenged Benteke to score a hat trick to rediscover his goal-scoring form from past seasons, according to the Daily Mail.

Benteke has scored twice since returning to action after an achilles injury, and was dropped from the starting squad by previous manager Paul Lambert. He was promoted back to a starting position by Sherwood, but still has some work to do to get back to his old form.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke is available off the bench for Tuesday's match against Hull City.

What seemed like a great matchup on paper for fantasy owners is anything but due to Benteke's spot on the bench. Gabby Agbonlahor will start up front with Andreas Weimann and Scott Sinclair.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert said that Benteke must improve his current form in order to earn a spot back in the side, reports the Daily Mail.

The Belgian started on the bench against Chelsea, and could be in for more time on the bench. Benteke is working to replicate his early Premier League success, but has been looked over in favor of Gabriel Agbonlahor recently.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke is available off the bench for Saturday's match against Chelsea.

Benteke has really struggled to get much going offensively this season, though he does have Villa's last goal. Unfortunately, it came seven games ago against Manchester United. The move to the bench is still very surprising, though he will likely make an appearance off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke took two shots, with both on goal, and scored in the 18th minute of Aston Villa's 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Saturday.

Benteke's goal was his second this season, both of which coming in the last four games. He continues to be an elite-skilled striker, and given his little usage this season after returning from an Achilles injury and then a three-match red-card ban, he could be heavily used during the holiday condensed schedule.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke only managed to take two shots during Saturday's 1-0 loss to West Brom.

Benteke is a potent scorer but he was stifled by the defensive efforts of West Brom on Saturday. He'll look to rebound against Manchester United next Saturday which has given up 17 goals over 16 Premier League matches this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke took six shots against Leicester City on Sunday, although he didn't connect with the two attempts that were actually on goal.

Despite the unsuccessful attempts from Benteke on Sunday, Villa still came away with a 2-1 victory over Leicester with goals from Ciaran Clark and Alan Hutton. However, Benteke is still the best goal-scoring option for Villa when they face West Brom on Saturday, a team that is allowing their opponents to score 1.33 goals per match.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Benteke is available to play Tuesday against Crystal Palace after serving a three-game suspension for picking up a red card Nov. 2 against Spurs.

Benteke was making only his second appearance of the season before the red card for an altercation with Ryan Mason, following a long layoff while he recovered from a ruptured Achilles. Given his scoring ability, and the struggles of Villa this season to find the back of the net, he is likely headed right back into the starting XI.
