Lacazette finished with 23 goals and three assists in 43 appearances in all competitions this season.

Lacazette had just six goals to his name in late November, raising questions about the authenticity of his Golden Boot campaign in 2014/15, but a second-half surge saw him climb all the way up second in the league. He now has 50 goals over the past two seasons and has drawn significant interest from big clubs both domestically and abroad, fueling speculation that when he returns from France's Euro 2016 campaign, he will be wearing a different shirt.

Neymar and Luis Suarez dominated while Lionel Messi was out with a knee injury, and while both have tremendous fantasy upside, one is the clear safer choice on DraftKings.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lacazette stayed red hot during Saturday's 3-2 win over Toulouse, scoring on his only shot and adding an assist from two key passes.

Last season's French Golden Boot winner has caught fire with the current campaign winding down, as he has eight goals and three assists in his last eight matches. Lacazette is showing no signs of slowing down at the moment, and he will look to keep it rolling versus Ajaccio this weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lacazette attempted five shots and scored the winning goal in the 82nd minute of Friday's 1-0 win over Nice.

The striker is red hot at the moment, as Friday's tally was his seventh, to go along with two assists, in his last seven matches. Lacazette has resembled the Golden Boot winner of last year over the last couple of months, and he will look to keep it rolling Saturday versus Toulouse.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lacazette buried a 93rd-minute penalty in Saturday's 2-0 win over Nantes.

The striker was rather quiet and actually did not attempt a shot other than the penalty, but he still managed to score for the third consecutive match. Lacazette will not sniff the 27 league goals he scored last season, but his improved play in the second half of the year could still see him finish with a respectable return. Lyon will next face Lorient on Apr. 2.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lacazette scored the winning goal on four shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over Caen.

The 24-year-old has regressed this season after netting 29 goals in all competitions a year ago, but he has stepped up his play lately, with four goals in seven league matches since the calendar flipped to 2016. Lacazette could be showing signs of a breakout, as three of those tallies have come in the last three matches, and he will be a player to track entering Sunday's match versus Lille.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lacazette took three shots, provided one key pass and scored his seventh league goal of the season in Saturday's 4-1 win over Troyes.

Last season's Golden Boot winner endured a rather pedestrian first half of the season in which he scored just eight times in 22 matches, but he began the second half of the season on the right foot. Lyon are languishing 25 points adrift of first-place PSG, and they will require Lacazette to recapture last season's form if they are to climb up the table. Lacazette will look to build off of his strong start to the second half in Wednesday's Coupe de la Ligue match versus the aforementioned league-leaders.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lacazette has taken a step backwards this season, scoring just six goals on 34 shots during his 15 Ligue 1 appearances.

Lacazette is coming off last season with the Golden Boot Award for Ligue 1, although that seems to be a distant memory at this point unless he can start to see better results during the remainder of the season. He still remains one of the elite options in Ligue 1, however, and could certainly be in store for a big finish at just 24 years of age.

June 13, 2015

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lacazette exploded onto the scene this season for Lyon, totaling 31 goals and six assists in all competitions.

The 24-year-old was productive throughout the campaign and even scored 10 times during a six-game goal streak at one point en route to the Golden Boot. A 17-goal season in 2013-14 put the Frenchman on the radar, but he emerged as a top attacking talent this year, as only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo scored more goals in a major European league. Lacazette is being chased by several major clubs at the moment, and Lyon may find if difficult to keep hold of him despite their strong desire to do so.
