Dempsey (hamstring) is starting Saturday against Toronto.

Dempsey has been questionable to play for a full weeks, but he'll start in his return to the Sounders, which will come just before he joins up with the US Men's National Team. The Sounders have been riddled by injuries over the last few weeks, but Dempsey and Obafemi Martins will finally able to start together again Saturday.

Dempsey (hamstring) isn't available for Sunday's game against the Timbers.

Dempsey was officially listed as questionable coming into Sunday but there hasn't been a legitimate update to his status in the last few weeks as his stint with a hamstring injury continues to linger. He faces another week of rehabbing and will almost certainly be a game-time decision next Saturday against Toronto FC since he's not expected to join the U.S. Men's National Team.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dempsey (hamstring) remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Timbers, Matt Pentz of the Seattle Times reports.

Head coach Sigi Schmid continues to say that Dempsey's status is improving, but Dempsey has sat out the last three games and there's a serious chance that he won't take the field yet again Sunday. If that's the case, Nelson Valdez will most likely be in line for another stint in the starting XI alongside Obafemi Martins.

Dempsey continues to be hampered by a hamstring injury as Nelson Valdez will make another start in his place alongside Obafemi Martins at the forefront of Seattle's attack. The next opportunity for Dempsey's return will be against the Timbers next Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dempsey's (hamstring) return to the field this Saturday against Real Salt Lake is in question, Matt Pentz of the Seattle Times reports.

Head coach Sigi Schmid wasn't too optimistic when addressing whether or not Dempsey would be available and the forward will ultimately be a game-time decision. He's played just 90 MLS minutes since June 13, but Dempsey will immediately be an elite option once he finally puts his injury concerns in the past.

Dempsey (hamstring) isn't available for Sunday's game against Orlando City.

Dempsey will be missing his second consecutive game as Obafemi Martins (groin) and Nelson Valdez occupy both forward slots in head coach Sigi Schmid's 4-4-2 formation. The injury isn't believed to be serious, although Dempsey will likely be another game-time decision next week against Real Salt Lake.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dempsey (hamstring) is considered questionable for Sunday's game against Orlando City, Matt Pentz of the Seattle Times reports.

Dempsey was a late scratch last week against the Galaxy and the sentiment coming from training is that he'll also be absent for Sunday's game, despite the speculation that his hamstring injury isn't serious. The Sounders are currently devoid of viable options at forward, but enforcement could arrive just in time as the newly acquired Andreas Ivanschitz and Nelson Valdez have an opportunity to make their MLS debuts.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dempsey is dealing with a hamstring injury and won't play in Sunday's game against the Galaxy, Don Ruiz of The News Tribune reports. Although, the injury is not believed to be serious.

The Sounders waited until the last possible minute before announcing Dempsey's injury, undoubtedly sending those who have a vested interest in the striker into panic mode. In his place, Chad Barrett will take over at the forefront of Seattle's attack and is the most likely member of the Sounders to be involved with a potential goal against the Galaxy.
