RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bale (hip) is set to make his return for the club in the upcoming match against Villarreal on Wednesday, ESPN FC reports.

Bale took a knock during last Wednesday's Champions League match victory at home against Sporting Lisbon, 2-1. He has returned to full training and is set to feature against an unbeaten Villarreal squad. Coach Zinedine Zidane on Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo returning, "they trained normally and were fine, 100 percent. Both of them." With both stars set to return for Los Blancos they'll look to extend their streak to 17 wins in a row under Zidane.

Bale (hip) is not in the 18-man squad to face Espanyol on Sunday.

Bale was questionable for the match because of the injury, and with Real Madrid playing midweek, there was little reason to rush him into the lineup if he wasn't fit. Karim Benzema will start up front with Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bale is a major doubt for Sunday's La Liga trip to Espanyol with a hip injury, according to Marca.

Bale missed Friday's training and appears almost certain to miss the trip to Barcelona after sustaining a hip injury during midweek Champions League clash with Sporting. James Rodriguez or Lucas Vazquez could be called upon duty to replace him in the starting line up.

Bale secured two interceptions, put in two crosses, attempted four shots and earned an assist in Saturday's 5-2 steamrolling of Osasuna.

Bale welcomed Cristiano Ronaldo back to the lineup with an assist on a silver platter in the sixth minute, and he was lively for the rest of his time on the pitch until he was removed in the 74th minute. Bale already has two goals and an assist to his name on the young season, and he looks poised to build off of an impressive 2015/16 campaign. Los Blancos will take on Sporting Lisbon Wednesday in the Champions League before facing Espanyol in league play next Sunday.

Bale attempted six shots but failed to score against Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Although his attempts were unsuccessful, Bale was the focal point of Real Madrid's attack with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema out with injuries. Both are expected back in Real's next league match on 10 Sept., which will reduce his overall chances to score. Despite this, Bale is still one of the biggest attacking threats in La Liga and will look to best his 19-goal performance from the 2015-2016 season. The newly promoted Osasuna are Real Madrid's next opponent, which sounds like goals to the Real Madrid faithful.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bale led Madrid's attack Sunday and found the back of the net twice in the 3-0 win at Sociedad. Bale finished with three shots, three aerials won and two successful tackles.

With Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo out, Bale was the main man in Madrid's attack. Even when those guys return, Bale will remain a threat as usual. With multiple injuries throughout last season, Bale finished with 19 goals in 21 starts.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bale is expected to spearhead the Madrid attack during Sunday's match against Real Sociedad, with Karim Benzema (hip) and Cristiano Ronaldo (knee) out, Marca reports.

Bale is coming off a magnificent run with Wales at the European Championship, but he got enough of a preseason in to justify starting right away. He will likely be joined by Alvaro Morata, who is back with Los Blancos following a spell with Juventus.
