RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Balotelli was an unused substitute for Sunday's match against Southampton.

It's hard to determine when manager Brendan Rodgers will deploy Balotelli, which detracts from the striker's overall viability since he can't be relied upon on a week-to-week basis. Although, he's always a threat to score when he's on the pitch. Looking ahead, Balotelli will almost certainly start Sunday's upcoming contest against Manchester City on the bench, and only Rodgers knows if he'll be inserted into the match or not.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Balotelli was inserted into Saturday's FA Cup match against Crystal Palace in the 46th minute, although he only managed to get off two unsuccessful shots during his time on the pitch.

Balotelli finally scored his first goal of the Premier League season against the Spurs on Tuesday, but he's still expected to be limited off the bench moving forward which leaves his value with something to be desired. Even so, the 24-year-old could certainly earn a larger role on Liverpool at some point in the future.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Balotelli scored the match-winner in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over Spurs, his first Premier League goal for Liverpool.

Balotelli came on as a second-half sub and sealed the game in the 83rd minute after an excellent cross by fellow-sub Adam Lallana. Despite the score, it seems highly unlikely that Balotelli will find himself in the starting XI in the near-term, but he's been known to score in bunches and Liverpool are surely hoping he can break out while playing as a super-reserve.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Balotelli is available off the bench for Tuesday's match against Spurs.

With Daniel Sturridge starting and manager Brendan Rodgers not playing a two-striker set right now, it's unlikely that Balotelli has a major impact any time soon.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Balotelli was not on the 18-man roster for Saturday's match against Everton.

This is the second-straight week that Balotelli has been left off of the 18-man roster. As a result, he's a lackluster option across all formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Balotelli is not in the 18-man squad to face West Ham on Saturday.

The return of Daniel Sturridge from his thigh injury seems to have pushed Balotelli out of the squad, as Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini are both available off the bench.

Balotelli (illness) returned to the pitch as a reserve in Tuesday's Capital One Cup match against Chelsea.

Balotelli had been off the pitch with an illness since Jan. 10, but he seems to be available moving forward for Liverpool. His squad will face West Ham on Saturday, a team that is conceding 1.14 goals per match.
