Ochoa conceded five goals to Las Palmas in a loss on Sunday.

Moving from backup to starter this season increases his fantasy value, but playing for a team that finished 16th in La Liga play and conceded 69 goals last season decreases it. Granada have conceded six goals this season, but move into a weaker part of their schedule over the next five weeks.

The group stage matches finish up Tuesday, but there is still plenty to be decided in Groups C and D, which should produce plenty of fantasy points.

Ochoa conceded a goal, but also made two saves during Granada's 1-1 draw against Villarreal on Saturday.

Ochoa spent last season as a backup in Malaga, but he will be starter this year for Granada so his fantasy value should increase considerably. He finished the past season with three clean sheets and 29 saves in 11 La Liga appearances (10 starts).

Ochoa started twice for Mexico in Copa America Centenario, earning one clean sheet, seven saves and seven goals conceded.

Ochoa was the backup in Malaga last season. The 30-year-old keeper recorded his first league appearance in over a year in March replacing injured Carlos Kameni and managed to finish the season with three clean sheets and 29 saves in 11 La Liga appearances (10 starts). Unless he wins out the starting spot, his fantasy upside off the bench will be very limited.

The entire Mexico team had a tough match in Saturday's 7-0 loss to Chile. Ochoa finished with four saves, but there wasn't much he could do to change the team's fate.

It was a difficult day for all on the Mexico team and Ochoa received the brunt of the defeat, allowing seven goals. It was an unfortunate way for the Mexican team to bow out after looking so good in group stages.

Ochoa made three saves and caught one cross during Thursday's 2-0 win against Jamaica.

Even though Ochoa sat on the bench in Mexico's Copa opener, he got the start as part of a manager's rotation and he didn't disappoint. Ochoa made some pretty good saves, and he should become a decent fantasy option if he manages to take over the starting role between the posts for El Tri.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ochoa sat on the bench for Malaga's La Liga opener Saturday against Athletic Club, where he watched Carlos Kameni record a five-save clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

Ochoa became a star during the World Cup for Mexico, becoming a hot commodity as a free agent with his contract at Ajaccio expired. However, few of the bigger clubs looked his way, and Malaga finally came calling even though he'd be used as a backup. It appears his World Cup glory is as high as it's going to get, unless something happens to Kameni that would thrust Ochoa in the starting XI.

Ochoa has signed with Málaga, Goal.com reports.

Fresh off some standout showings for Mexico in the World Cup, Ochoa became a hot commodity, attracting interest from a number of clubs across the world. The 29-year old has decided to head to Málaga and will make a big jump from French side Ajaccio, who were just relegated from Ligue 1. Ochoa, who has earned 63 caps for his country, should immediately step in and be the first-choice goalkeeper in place of the departed Willy Caballero.

Ochoa made six saves, including a number of remarkable denials, in Mexico's scoreless draw with Brazil in the World Cup on Tuesday.

Ochoa was an absolute brick wall against the host nation, stopping numerous chances, including a highlight reel save off a Neymar header. With four points through two matches, the Mexicans are in a solid position to advance to the knockout stage with at least a point against Croatia in their final match.
