Ramsey suffered a minor groin injury during Wales' Euro 2016 qualifier against Israel on Sunday, The Guardian reports.

Ramsey, who scored the opener for Wales, is certainly now an injury doubt for Saturday's match against Liverpool. Ramsey has three goals in his last four appearance for club and country, and was certainly going to start against Liverpool if he was fully fit.

Ramsey provided a goal and an assist during Arsenal's comfortable 3-0 win over West Ham on Saturday.

Ramsey returned from a hamstring issue to make his first start in over a month and still managed to produce an excellent performance. The Welshman ran tirelessly in the midfield, setting up Arsenal's opening goal and doubling their advantage during the second half. With Ramsey back healthy, Santi Cazorla may occasionally be pushed into a more advanced role up the pitch or on either wing.

Ramsey has slowly returned to fitness from his hamstring issue, though given that this is his first game back, it's unsurprising that he's not starting. Tomas Rosicky is in the starting XI in Ramsey's place, and he could take his spot back March 14 against West Ham.

Ramsey is expected to be sidelined for at least two weeks with his hamstring injury, manager Arsene Wenger confirmed Friday.

Wenger described it as "not a majority injury, it's a Grade One," which has given the club optimism that Ramsey won't be sidelined for long. There are a number of lineup options, though it looks like Tomas Rosicky could get the first shot to start alongside Francis Coquelin in the defensive midfield slots.
