Richardson checked in 20 minutes off the bench in his return from calf injury. He registered two shots off target and a total of merely six touches in the 2-0 dreadful loss to West Ham on Tuesday.

Richardson wasn't expected to be fit for the game and is obviously still very rusty and will need a little time to gain better fitness. That's his first Premier League appearance for 2016 and with a total of nine for the season, one assist and no goals his fantasy value is very low in most formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson is unlikely to be fit for Tuesday's match versus West Ham as he struggles with a calf injury.

The 31-year-old will miss his third consecutive match Tuesday after suffering the injury on Jan. 19. Aly Cissokho has performed well as the starting fullback in Richardson's absence, and will likely continue on in that role moving forward, leaving the latter to serve as a utility substitute option.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson got off six crosses and recorded an assist in a 3-2 loss to Watford on Saturday.

Rihardson hasn't been starting much this season, but it appears he's captured the right-back role for now. He's still a talented attacker from a defensive position and it makes him intriguing for fantasy purposes.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson could step in at left-back for this weekend's match versus Everton, with Jordan Amavi lost for the season to a knee injury.

The 31-year-old has made just three league starts this season, but his prior experience makes him a prime candidate to step in for Amavi, with no other true left-backs currently on the roster.

Richardson (calf) is still not training and is doubtful to play Sunday against Burnley.

The full extent of the injury is unclear, and while Richardson seems likely to miss the Premier League season finale, he may have a shot to return for the FA Cup final against Arsenal the following weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson was unable to play Saturday against Manchester United because of his calf injury, and he remains an injury doubt for Tuesday's match against QPR, manager Tim Sherwood said.

Richardson has been sidelined since playing 42 minutes against Stoke City on Feb. 21, though even a return to fitness doesn't make him much of a fantasy contributor, as he has no goals and one assist in 17 appearances.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Swansea City, but he could return April 5 against Manchester United.

Richardson has been sidelined since Feb. 21 against Stoke City, giving him no opportunities to show new manager Tim Sherwood what he can do. However, even when he is fully fit, he doesn't get involved in the attack nearly enough to be a decent fantasy contributor in most formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson received a straight red card in the 22nd minute of Saturday's match against West Brom.

With the red card, Richardson will be suspended for Aston Villa's next three matches. He is eligible to return Jan. 1 against Crystal Palace.
