Richardson (calf) is not in the 18-man squad on Sunday against Arsenal.

Richardson's fantasy upside wasn't terribly high anyway, so his absence shouldn't affect many fantasy rosters.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson is questionable for Sunday's match against Arsenal because of his calf injury.

Richardson's playing time has been up-and-down this season, but even when he's fully fit, he's a fairly marginal fantasy option in most formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson (calf) is out Saturday against Newcastle.

Richardson wasn't expected to play, so it's not overly surprising that he'll miss out. While his absence certainly hurts Villa's depth, his fantasy upside was fairly limited anyway.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson (calf) is a "serious doubt" for Saturday's match against Newcastle.

Richardson has been struggling with fitness all season, and his lingering calf injury looks like it might hold him out of another match—his third in a row. Through form and fitness, he's played just 11 Premier League matches, starting eight of those. He has one assist and four yellow cards on the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Watford.

Richardson's fantasy upside has been fairly limited for most of the season, so even a return to fitness wasn't going to make him a potential target for fantasy managers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson (calf) is out Saturday against Southampton.

Richardson's absence is a bit of a hit to Villa, though he's hardly a high-upside fantasy option even when fit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson could miss Saturday's match against Southampton because of a calf injury, interim manager Eric Black said Friday.

While Richardson's absence certainly isn't a plus, his fantasy upside was fairly limited anyway.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Richardson picked up a yellow card on three fouls and took one shot off target and one cross in 81 minutes of play in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Man Utd.

With Villa under new management, Richardson has found himself some playing time as a starter in the midfield of the team. Once, a very promising talent, the 31-year-old seems to be on the decline of his career with the total number of games he's played over the past three season getting significantly reduced from 31, two years ago, to 22, last year, to 11 this campaign with only four games left. He's only had one assist and no goals, thus far this season and even if he continues to start in the more offensive role he's facing strong defensive sides - Southampton, Watford and Arsenal - in three of the Villans' last four games.
