Rafinha provided an assist, took one shot, and kept a clean sheet by making four interceptions and two tackles in Saturday's 2-0 win against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Rafinha has been used rather sparingly this season in both Bundesliga and Champions League play but is a strong defender who provides valuable depth for manager Carlo Ancelotti. From a fantasy perspective, it's difficult to predict when Rafinha will earn a start, although with one goal and one assist in five appearances, he may start to see more playing time. Bayern Munich face FC Augsburg twice this week: in the DFB Pokal this Wednesday and again in Bundesliga play this Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rafinha took one shot, completed one dribble, made two tackles, won a single aerial duel, and scored a goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over Ingolstadt.

Rafinha sealed all three points for Bayern in the 84th minutes when he struck the ball into the bottom left corner of the net. Rafinha has now played in two Bundesliga matches, starting one and coming off the bench for the other. Between Philip Lahm, Joshua Kimmich, David Alaba, and Rafinha, Bayern have no shortage of outside-backs. Before submitting a lineup, it may be necessary to see which outside-backs are starting for Munich.

Rafinha got the start and picked up a clean sheet in Tuesday's 5-0 Champions League win against Rostov. He finished with two aerials won and five successful tackles.

With only 16 minutes to his name in league play, most of Rafinha's playing time will come in UCL group play in the coming months.

Rafinha earned an assist on four key passes and registered a clean sheet in Saturday’s 3-0 win against Schalke 04.

The Brazilian defender also played seven crosses in the match, with three finding their intended recipient. Rafinha doesn’t have a goal yet this season in any competition yet has found ways to provide some value for Bayern Munich and fantasy owners. He plays in front of Manuel Neuer, who leads the league in clean sheets, and his assist Saturday is his third of the season. Rafinha will look to add to his numbers when Bayern Munich host Werder Bremen on Tuesday in the DFB Pokal before traveling to the capital to face Hertha Berlin next Saturday.

Rafinha suffered an LCL injury in training and will be out for at least 14 days.

Given the timeline, Rafinha will miss Friday's game against Wolfsburg, as well as Bayern's next two matches, which come against Schalke and Stuttgart.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rafinha, who missed the first month of the season due to an ankle injury, picked up an assist in Bayern Munich's 4-0 win over Hannover 96 on Saturday.

Rahinha has started both of the last two Bundesliga matches, but he's been in-and-out of the starting XI this season and doesn't figure in the attack much, which limits his fantasy upside in most formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rafinha suffered an ankle injury during training Saturday and he could be out for an extended absence, reports.

Rafina appeared on his way out last summer, but got plenty of first-team action when Pep Guardiola took over. There are a few different options to replace him in the starting XI, which includes moving Philipp Lahm back to right back from the defensive midfielder role he played last season.

A good move for Genoa.
