Clichy tallied two crosses, one dribble and five interceptions on the way to a defensive clean sheet in the 1-0 away win over Sunderland on Tuesday.

Clichy grabbed his fourth consecutive Premier League appearance (five total for the season). Alexander Kolarov returned from his injury off the bench and should be able to regain his starting job on the left back on Saturday versus the Foxes. That will push Clichy back to a reserve role even though even when on the field he couldn't produce the statistics to make him an impact fantasy option.

Man City's attack may be a bit lighter without Kevin De Bruyne, but Sergio Aguero will still lead the charge this week against Sunderland's struggling defense.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy is starting versus Sunderland on Tuesday.

With Alexander Kolarov not fit enough to last a full game, the 30-year-old Clichy will grab his fourth Premier League start of the season. It's a tricky match up versus improved, as of late, Sunderland offense.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy is available for Saturday's match against Watford after recovering from a slight knock.

Clichy has found regular playing time very hard to come by this season because of the stellar play of Aleksandar Kolarov, and while the former may get a few starts here and there, his long-term fantasy upside is limited due to the latter.

Clichy (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Norwich City.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini said Friday that he was hopeful that Clichy would be able to return next week, and that he's likely to be fit following the upcoming international break. Either way, with a healthy Aleksandar Kolarov, who has played very well this season, Clichy doesn't seem close to getting his starting job back.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's match against Manchester United.

Clichy has reportedly been close to returning for nearly a month, and with Aleksandar Kolarov playing very well this season, and back from his own injury, there's little reason to believe Clichy is heading for consistent starts anytime soon.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Bournemouth.

Clichy could have been heading for a start, with Aleksandar Kolarov out with a hamstring injury. Unfortunately, Clichy is still not ready, and the Citizens may have to go with the fullback combination of Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta while Clichy and Kolarov are out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy (ankle) has been ruled out by manager Manuel Pellegrini for Saturday's match against Newcastle.

Clichy has been sidelined this whole season with an ankle injury. In his place, Aleksandar Kolarov has been excellent by and large in his place at left back. Clichy will be important to have back as cover and depth, but is unlikely to seize back his starting spot.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy (ankle) remains sidelined with his ankle injury, manager Manuel Pellegrini said Friday.

Clichy was expected to be sidelined until at least the beginning of October with the ailment, so the news that he's still not ready isn't overly surprising. Aleksandar Kolarov will continue to start at left back, and given how well he's played, it seems like a long shot that Clichy will get the starting job back when he's fit.
