Clichy (back) is available off the bench Saturday against Stoke City.

Clichy fails to get a start in his return, as Aleksandar Kolarov keeps his place in the first XI, though it's possible he gets a run out Tuesday against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy (back) is available for Saturday's match against Stoke City.

Clichy missed Tuesday's match against Newcastle and has played one total minute of the team's past three Premier League matches. With a busy period of fixtures upcoming, Clichy should draw in at some point between Saturday against Stoke City, Tuesday's Champions League match against Real Madrid or next weekend's tilt against Southampton. Through injuries and form, Clichy has just 12 appearances in the Premier League this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy (back) has been ruled out for Tuesday's match against Newcastle.

Clichy's absence should allow Aleksandar Kolarov to start again, which will come against a Newcastle side that has given up loads of goals this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy tallied clean sheet, two crosses and four interceptions in the Saturday's 4-0 win over Bournemouth.

Clichy has been on fire of late and has deservingly taken the starting left back role over from Aleksandar Kolarov. The former, though, had a quiet outing this time around with City taking a comfortable lead very early in the game and sitting patiently back for the majority of the rest of the game. When City is in attack mode, however, Clichy could post a threat with crosses and long balls. The Citizens are hosting the Baggies next Saturday in another favorable fantasy match up.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy kept a clean sheet in Saturday's scoreless draw with Norwich City.

City's first-choice left back had another solid game, albeit one that didn't really see him provide much on the offensive end. City probably could've used the offensive thrust Aleksander Kolarov provides, but Clichy's responsibility at the back end should keep him in the starting XI by and large.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy created three chances on the way to helping Man City to a clean sheet in their 4-0 home win against Aston Villa on Saturday.

After the highs and lows of the past week, it was a very comfortable afternoon for City and Clichy. From a defensive perspective, he is City’s best left-back but there is always a rotation risk from the more offensive Kolarov.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy started, provided a pair of crosses and earned an assist in Sunday's loss to Tottenham.

The 30-year-old started for the third time in four games Sunday, and he was able to put forth a strong defensive showing while providing a meaningful presence in the attack. Aleksander Kolarov came off the bench again, and since there has been no mention of the calf injury he suffered last month, Clichy simply seems to be the preferred option at the moment. It remains to be seen if that will be the case for the Feb. 28 match versus Liverpool.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clichy tallied two crosses, one dribble and five interceptions on the way to a defensive clean sheet in the 1-0 away win over Sunderland on Tuesday.

Clichy grabbed his fourth consecutive Premier League appearance (five total for the season). Alexander Kolarov returned from his injury off the bench and should be able to regain his starting job on the left back on Saturday versus the Foxes. That will push Clichy back to a reserve role even though even when on the field he couldn't produce the statistics to make him an impact fantasy option.
