Ronaldo took 10 shots, made two key passes and earned a pair of assists in Saturday's 5-0 thrashing of Deportivo.

The Ballon d'Or runner-up failed to hit the back of the net for the second straight match, but the larger sample illustrates his dominance, as he now has 12 goals and eight assists in his last nine matches. Gareth Bale and Karem Benzema have each shouldered a heavier load in the goal scoring department this season, but Ronaldo continues to chug along and is still on pace to break the 40-goal barrier once again. He will look to break his miniature goal drought versus lowly Sporting Gijon this Sunday.

Ronaldo took two shots and made four key passes, including an assist, in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Valencia.

While he was not as prolific in terms of action stats as he usually is, the Portuguese star played a large part in the opening goal of the match, laying off a cheeky no-look pass for Karim Benzema to slot home. Since a three-match lull in which he did not factor into a goal during November, Ronaldo has 12 goals and six assists in eight matches and appears to be back in form. Zinedine Zidane was appointed to replace Rafael Benetiz on Monday, but Ronaldo should remain the focal point of a dangerous attack and will look to keep it rolling versus Deportivo this weekend.
