Robben recorded an assist thanks to Memphis Depay's goal during stoppage time in the Netherlands' 2-0 win over Chile on Monday in the World Cup.

Robben has been stunningly successful thus far in the World Cup as this assist is added to the three goals that he's already racked up in group play. Odds are he'll play a vital role during his country's tilt against Mexico on Sunday in the knockout stage.

Robben scored in the 20th minute of Netherlands' 3-2 win over Australia in their second match of the World Cup on Wednesday.

Robben's goal was a remarkable individual effort that showed he still has plenty of speed left in the tank, as he stormed down field and predictably fired a shot off his left foot passed keep Maty Ryan. Robben now has three goals through two matches, with a monster game coming up against Chile to decide the Group B winner.

Robben scored two goals during Netherlands' 5-1 win over Spain in their opening match at the World Cup on Friday.

Spain took a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute, but the Dutch absolutely dominated after that. Robben and Robin van Persie were unstoppable, as each bagged a brace, while also becoming the first Dutch players to ever score in three different World Cups. Netherlands are in a great position to win the group now, which sets them up nicely for the knockout stage, as the second-place finisher will likely face Brazil.

Robben will miss the next six weeks as a result of the knee injury he suffered during Wednesday's DFB-Pokal win over FC Augsburg, Sky Sports reports. Bayern Munich club doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt said that Robben "has a deep cut, right into his knee joint. A stud put a lot of pressure on the femur in his right leg and there is a big build-up of blood."

Robben is almost certainly done for 2013 and will miss the Club World Cup in Morocco. He will likely return by the end January, missing two Bundesliga fixtures, plus a Champions League tie with Manchester City.

Robben was involved in a nasty collision during Wednesday's German Cup match against FC Augsburg and had to be taken off on a stretcher, as he was unable to walk off the pitch due to a knee injury, reports.

Robben, who scored a goal within the first five minutes of the match, was stretchered off after just 16 minutes and taken to the hospital to clean his wound. It's unclear how long he'll be out, although Saturday's Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen seems doubtful.
