Robben has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn calf muscle during Tuesday's DFB-Pokal match against Borussia Dortmund.

While Bayern have already clinched another Bundesliga title, they will be without Robben for their remaining Champions League matches, with the semifinal first leg against Barcelona coming up next week. Bayern dismantled FC Porto in the second leg of their quarterfinal tie last week, but missing Robben against Barcelona will be a huge void to fill, especially with striker Robert Lewandowski possibly also missing out due to injury.

Robben has been ruled out of Saturday's match against Werder Bremen after suffering a hamstring injury during Wednesday's Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk, the Associated Press reports.

Despite missing Robben for much of the match, Bayern absolutely dominated in Wednesday's match, taking it 7-0, as Robben was the only starting outfielder player not to record a goal or an assist. It's unclear how long he'll be out, but Bayern have plenty of reinforcements to hold themselves atop the Bundesliga table while the Dutchman is sidelined.
