Cech will remain a Chelsea player at least until January after the summer transfer window closed Monday evening, reports the Daily Mail.

Queens Park Rangers was one club the keeper was offered to, but it is understood that the veteran was more interested in a club based in London. He will remain at Chelsea for his 11th season with the team.

Cech is seeking assurance regarding his future with Chelsea after losing his starting role to Thibaut Courtois against Burnley on Monday, reports the Daily Mail.

Cech has a number of suitors, including Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco, as he tries to determine how much action he will see with the return of Courtois.

Cech is available off the bench for Chelsea's Premier League opener against Burnley on Monday, but he will likely not play with Thibaut Courtois getting the start.

The goalkeeper battle is a tough one for manager Jose Mourinho, who seemed to give himself a small out by saying his World Cup players may not feature Monday. However, he threw caution to the wind and is starting Eden Hazard, Andre Schurrle, Oscar and Courtois, who appears close to clinching the job over Cech, who could be seeing his long and storied career at Stamford Bridge coming to an end.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has yet to decide with Cech or Thibaut Courtois will be the starting goalkeeper this season, the Independent reports.

Cech appears to be fully recovered from the separated shoulder he suffered during the semifinal of the Champions League last season, but the decision to not loan Courtois back out to Atletico Madrid has caused uncertainty at Stamford Bridge. Either choice is an excellent one for fantasy owners, and Mourinho will use the remaining four preseason matches to determine his starter.

Cech returned to full training Monday, three weeks ahead of his 10-week schedule, the Telegraph reports.

Cech's immediate future at Chelsea is a bit cloudy, as the club has decided to keep Thibaut Courtois this season instead of sending him back on loan. As good as Cech is, Courtois is already one of the best keepers in the world and manager Jose Mourinho won't keep him around to keep the bench warm.

Cech underwent successful surgery on his shoulder Wednesday and he will be out for the next eight to 10 weeks, The Guardian reports.

Cech suffered a separated shoulder in the first leg of Chelsea's Champions League semifinal tie with Atletico Madrid, and he has been replaced by Mark Schwarzer since then. The Czech Republic did not qualify for this year's World Cup, so Cech will have all summer to rehab.

Cech, who suffered a separated shoulder last week in the first leg of Chelsea's Champions League semifinal tie with Atletico Madrid, made a surprise return to training Tuesday, ESPN FC reports.

Cech was all but ruled out for the season with the injury, with Mark Schwarzer taking over in front of the net. However, if he is able to return for Wednesday's second leg, there's a very good chance he could continue to play in Premier League matches, with Chelsea facing Norwich City at home this weekend, followed by the season-finale at Cardiff City.

Cech suffered a shoulder injury in Tuesday's Champions League match against Atletico Madrid and he will not play again this season, the BBC reports.

This is a huge blow to Chelsea's Champions League and Premier League aspirations, not to mention fantasy teams that have ridden Cech's fine play this season. Mark Schwarzer, who replaced Cech in Tuesday's match, is expected to start the remaining three fixtures this season, including this Sunday's league match against Liverpool.
