Cech made three saves while keeping a clean sheet in Sunday's scoreless draw with Sunderland.

Cech had virtually nothing to do in the first half, but was pressed into duty early on in the second half, making a fine double save and then another one a few minutes later. While Sunderland threatened at times, Cech was confident off his line and was lucky to see a free kick clatter off the crossbar in the first half. With Per Mertesacker back in central defense, Arsenal's back-four looks much more composed, albeit unable to make up for mistakes thanks to a significant drop in pace.

Arsenal may be eliminated from the title race, but a home match against Norwich easily puts Petr Cech on top of the goalkeeper rankings this week.

Cech made one save en route to a clean sheet in Thursday's 2-0 win over West Brom.

After allowing a sloppy slip up just a few days ago, Arsenal tighten up the defense this time around allowing Cech to snatch his deserving clean sheet. Cech could be unbeatable but the Gunners' mistake-proneness have hampered his fantasy upside not once or twice. Next up for him is a visit to the Stadium of Light on Sunday in a very tricky match up against the fighting for survival Black Cats.

Cech made just one save in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

The veteran had little to do in this one, but he was unable to answer the bell as Yannick Bolasie's low strike crept inside the post in the 81st minute, spoiling a would-be shutout victory. Cech will have little time to dwell on Sunday's hiccup, as Arsenal will face West Brom Thursday.

Cech (calf) is available off the bench Saturday versus Watford.

Cech isn't ready to be a full go but an appearance on the bench means he's closing in on his return. David Ospina will grab another start in the mean time.

Cech (calf) is back in normal training but is still questionable for Saturday's match against Watford, according to manager Arsene Wenger.

Wenger intimated that Cech may be "a bit short to be competitive," though his fitness level isn't likely as important given his position. If Cech is unable to play, David Ospina will get the start.

Cech (calf) will miss another match this weekend, but Arsene Wenger expects Cech to be ready after the international break.

David Ospina is a downgrade from Cech, but he does come with a cheaper price tag. However, a road match at Everton won't be an easy match to produce a clean sheet.

Cech is expected to be sidelined for at least four weeks because of his calf injury, manager Arsene Wenger said Monday.

David Ospina will continue to fill in for Cech, both in Premier League matches and the FA Cup, where Arsenal have potentially two matches this week.

Cech will not play Saturday against Spurs because of the calf injury he suffered at the end of Wednesday's match against Swansea, manager Arsene Wenger said.

Cech picked up the injury running back to his goal after taking part in a last-minute attacking corner. The injury is enough to hold him out of the team's very important next match against Spurs. David Ospina will start in his absence.
