Mirallas (hamstring) got a surprising start in a 2-1 win over West Ham on Saturday.

Mirallas appeared to be poised to miss another week or so, but he made a surprise return from the hamstring injury that kept him out for the past few weeks. He played 66 minutes and got off a single shot, but it was just nice to see the young star back in the starting XI. Look for him to be starting again next weekend against Tottenham.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez confirmed Thursday that Mirallas (hamstring) has returned to training, though he did not indicate when the Belgian midfielder would be fit enough for match play.

Mirallas has been sidelined since suffering the injury Sept. 27 against Liverpool, but if he is able to get enough work done over the international break, he may be available off the bench Nov. 22 against West Ham.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez said Friday that Mirallas (hamstring) is about two or three weeks away from returning, which means he could play Nov. 22 against West Ham after the international break.

Mirallas will be a big boost when he does return, although if his recovery takes him close to three weeks than two, he may not return until Nov. 30 against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Mirallas will continue to be sidelined for a few more weeks due to the hamstring injury he suffered in the Merseyside derby Sept. 27, Everton manager Roberto Martinez confirmed Thursday. "Kevin has got a typical sprinter's injury," Martinez said. "We expect him to be out for a few weeks as well but he doesn't need surgery, just the conservative treatment that we will apply."

Mirallas' injury was certainly a blow to fantasy owners, with the Belgian midfielder scoring twice in six Premier League appearances this season. Martinez has a few different options to replace Mirallas, but none have his fantasy upside.

There is still no timetable for Mirallas' return from a hamstring injury, as Everton medics are still assessing the scans he received this week, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The Echo further explains that the injury is believed to be similar to what Gerard Deulofeu, who was on loan last season from Barcelona, suffered, which caused him to miss eight weeks.

Mirallas is set to miss a number of weeks due to his hamstring injury, and he may not return until December, ESPN reports.

It's a tough hit for Everton, who have a few attacking options but none as complete as Mirallas. Ross Barkley is expected to return to training soon, although he doesn't figure to be match fit for a few more weeks himself.

Mirallas suffered a hamstring injury and had to be stretchered off in the 30th minute of Saturday's Merseyside derby.

Mirallas pulled up lame while trying to drive past Steven Gerrard and immediately went to the ground clutching his hamstring. He'll likely have scan later in the weekend to determine the full extent of the injury.

Mirallas scored again Saturday in the 2-0 win over West Brom getting off three shots on the day.

This is now back to back games for Mirallas grabbing a goal and he looks to be a true breakout this season for Everton. Look for Mirallas to be a good contributor of goals and assist all season long as this youngster is starting to find his groove for the Toffees. Mirallas and Everton host Crystal Palace next weekend in what looks to be a very favorable match-up.
