Mirallas (knee) should be available for Saturday's match against Stoke City.

Mirallas has struggled with injury at a number of times this season, but the talented winger has two goals in his past four matches. With the arrival of Oumar Niasse, Mirallas will have even more competition for playing time, but when healthy, the Belgian has shown the ability to compete at a very high level in the Premier League. Unfortunately, the "when healthy" caveat is a big one as he's found himself on the training table numerous times.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mirallas (knee) is not in the 18-man squad to face Newcastle on Wednesday.

Mirallas was considered doubtful to play, so it's not overly surprising that he'll sit out. He was just starting to come on with more playing time, but the injury will surely be a setback in his attempt to get a regular starting spot.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mirallas (knee) is doubtful to play Wednesday against Newcastle. "Kevin will have a couple of sessions to be reassessed, manager Roberto Martinez said Tuesday. "He will have a fitness test, even though it seems unlikely he will be fit to play. He hasn't joined the group yet and is probably two or three days away."

Mirallas was just starting to play well after fighting his way back in the starting XI, but his continued absence certainly won't bode well for getting that spot back if others step up.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mirallas has been ruled out for Wednesday's league cup match against Manchester City due to the knee injury he suffered Monday against Swansea.

Mirallas was finally getting a taste of starting, only to have the knee issue potentially keep him out for an extended period. The club have not released any kind of return date, though Everton do have a few attacking options they can use in his place, as they have for most of the season.

Mirallas scored a goal on three shots (three on target) in Saturday's 3-3 draw with Chelsea.

The winger has struggled through inconsistent playing time and poor form, but was outstanding on Saturday. He had three clear looks on goal and the fact that he only converted one says more about his country-mate Thibaut Courtois' play than Mirallas'. He has four goals in 16 matches across all competitions and both of his Premier League goals have come in the past six matches, despite being dropped from the squad in one and on the bench for two others.

Mirallas was subbed on in the 74th minute and scored in the 89th minute of Everton's 3-2 loss to Leicester on Saturday.

Mirallas has been in the doghouse all season, but was able to see some time on Saturday. This was his first goal in nine games and his transfer value has fallen off a cliff recently. While he did sign a new contract this past summer, it seems unlikely that he sticks around if this is what his role will be.

Mirallas admitted he may consider move in January, Express reports.

The striker has only started once in the Premier League this season and with the Euro 2016 approaching the Belgian wants to stay in match form. He was linked to move to the Spurs and the Hammers in the summer and may reconsider their offers if his status doesn't change until the winter transfer window opens up.

Mirallas is eligible to play Saturday against Manchester United after serving a three-match red card ban.

Mirallas has found regular playing time tough to come by under manager Roberto Martinez, partially due to injury, and given his inconsistent starts, he makes for a tough play in a lot of season-long formats.
