Flamini (ankle) is starting Saturday against Newcastle.

Calum Chambers started Monday against Bournemouth in place of Flamini, but the latter will start in his return. However, he plays a more defensive role, so his fantasy upside is a bit limited in most formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Flamini (ankle) could return for Saturday's match against Newcastle, manager Arsene Wenger said Wednesday.

Flamini was held out of Monday's match against Bournemouth due to the minor ailment, but if he's able to recover in time, he's likely to start in the defensive midfield, as Francis Coquelin (knee) and Mikel Arteta (calf) remain sidelined. Calum Chambers started in place of Flamini on Monday and would likely keep his spot if the latter isn't fit enough.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Flamini was held out of Monday's match against Bournemouth due to a minor ankle injury. "Flamini might be alright," manager Arsene Wenger said. "He was a little risk but I didn't take it."

Calum Chambers started for the Gunners in the holding midfield spot occupied recently by Flamini, and he played fairly well in Monday's 2-0 win.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Flamini (knock) is available off the bench Saturday against Everton.

Flamini doesn't get much playing time as it is, so his inclusion on the bench doesn't do much for his fantasy prospects.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Flamini (knock) is back in full training and could be available for Saturday's match against Watford, manager Arsene Wenger said Wednesday.

Flamini has found regular starts very hard to come by in Premier League play, and even when he is in the lineup, there are a number of higher upside midfielders on the team sheet.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Flamini (undisclosed) has been ruled out of Sunday's fixture with Manchester United.

Flamini, the hero against Spurs in the Capital One Cup, needed just 21 minutes of the team's next match to pick up an injury. While there's not a ton of room in Arsenal's crowded midfield, injuries have struck the team's collection of holding midfielders, leaving just a recently returned Francis Coquelin as the only true defensive midfielder that's fit. He could be ready on the other side of the international break when Arsenal takes on Watford on Oct. 17.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Flamini picked up an injury early in Saturday's match against Leicester City and had to be replaced after 21 minutes, according to the NBC Sports broadcast.

Flamini got the start in place of the injured Francis Coquelin (knee) after scoring twice against Spurs in their midweek Capital One Cup match. Mikel Arteta replaced Flamini and is likely to start if Coquelin has to miss any additional time, including Tuesday's Champions League match against Olympiacos.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Flamini is dealing with a minor ankle injury, though manager Arsene Wenger said Friday that it is minor.

Flamini could miss one of Arsenal's two upcoming friendlies against Lyon and Wolfsburg, but he is expected to be fit for the start of the Premier League season. However, with so much depth at midfield, he is unlikely to make much of a fantasy impact.
