Dawson (knee) is expected to return after the international break, in time for the AFC Bournemouth match.

Dawson doesn't offer a ton of fantasy value as a defender, but his worth for a Hull City side stricken with injuries is immeasurable. Andrew Robertson, Curtis Davies, Jake Livermore, and Sam Clucas are expected to be the starting back-four for a tough match with Chelsea.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson is expected to miss at least three months because of an MCL injury suffered during Tuesday's friendly against Mansfield, the BBC reports.

Dawson's issue is another hit to a Hull side that has been stung by the injury bug, and while he isn't a big fantasy asset in many formats, it's a big blow to Hull.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson headed in the match's only goal as Hull City went on to defeat Liverpool 1-0 on Tuesday.

The goal was Dawson's first of the season as the Hull City defender has relied on clean sheets to pick up much of his fantasy value. There are not expected to be many clean sheet opportunities remaining on the Hull City schedule which will keep his fantasy value low.

Dawson trained Thursday in preparation of Saturday's match against West Bromwich Albion, reports the Hull Daily Mail. His return to training likely signals he will be included in a Hull City lineup that is dealing with a long list of injuries.

Dawson still leads the team in blocked shots and is second in clearances despite missing all or part of Hull City's last five matches. He will add peripheral stats, however, his chances of a clean sheet are low as Hull City have kept just two on the road all season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson is expected to miss up to a month because of a hamstring tear, reports Sky Sports.

Dawson regularly contributes to the blocked shots and clearances statistics. However, if your format does not include these scoring stats he will have very low fantasy value when he returns due to Hull City's lack of clean sheet potential.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson was active Saturday despite Hull City losing to Manchester United 3-0. He led the Tigers with eight clearances and three blocked shots, but also received a yellow card for a hard foul on Robin van Persie.

The yellow card was Dawson's first on the season as he is regularly picking up peripheral stats in the Hull City defense despite the lack of clean sheets.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson played the full 90 minutes Sunday against Tottenham. Despite leading the team with 14 clearances and two blocked shots, he was unable to help Hull City to victory as the Tigers lost 1-2.

Dawson resumes his role as one of the most active Hull City defenders as he continues to lead the team in blocked shots and remains second in clearances.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson is expected to return to first team training this week after missing Hull City's previous three matches due to an ankle injury.

Before suffering the ankle injury, Dawson led all Hull City defenders in blocked shots and was second in successful clearances. In formats that account for these stats he could provide some value, but in standard formats his value will remain low due to Hull City's lack of clean sheet potential.
