Fabregas (knee) returned to training Tuesday and could be available for Saturday's La Liga match against Granada.

Fabregas felt pain in his knee toward the end of Barcelona's win over Real Betis back on November 10, a disappointing finish after he scored two goals and recorded an assist in the match. However, he appears to be on track to play Saturday and will continue to be an important part of the Barca attack, especially with Lionel Messi (hamstring) out until at least the new year.

Fabregas scored two goals and recorded an assist in Sunday's win over Real Betis but he also left the game in the 82nd minute with pain in his right knee, according to the Associated Press. "I started with some pain in my knee," the player said. "I was fine but it got worse as the game went on. I prefer to be cautious because I hurt my knee a few years ago."

The good news for Fabregas is that the international break has arrived and he'll likely use the time to rest his ailing knee. The Spanish midfielder now has four goals and seven assists in Liga play this year, along with one goal and one assist in Champions League action.

Fabregas was credited with two assists during Sunday's Liga opener against Levante. He set up Lionel Messi in the 12th minute and then did the same for Pedro at 26 minutes.

Fabregas, who had been working his way back from an ankle injury, played all 90 minutes, which should pretty much put all fantasy owners at ease regarding his ankle moving forward.
