Krul (knee) is hoping to step up his recovery the in the next few days and was able to attend his first match in St. James Park since the injury.

Krul is looking to take the next big step in the recovery process, however there is still no return date set for next season. He said that this type of injury needs to be taken month by month and he can't rush back early from this one. In his absence Rob Eliot has been preforming at a high level, with three clean sheets in Eliot's last five matches, Bournemouth will hope Eliot continues his success as Krul heals.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee during the Netherlands' Euro 2016 qualifier against Kazakhstan on Saturday.

Freddie Woodman was recalled from his loan at Crawley Town to provide depth, while Rob Elliot will likely take over in goal.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul made five saves and conceded six goals in Saturday's 6-1 defeat to Manchester City.

It was a second half to forget for the Dutch national keeper, as he conceded five times in a quarter of an hour. Krul has conceded 17 goals in eight matches this season and has kept only one clean sheet, but has very little help from a weak back line. He'll look to bounce-back against the newly promoted Norwich City side after the international break.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul made two saves in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Chelsea.

Krul conceded twice in the space of eight minutes as first Ramires scored in the 78th minute and Willian drew the visitors level in the 86th minute.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul made two saves in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Watford.

Krul had little chance with either of Odion Ighalo's goals and the latest loss comes after two strong showings against Arsenal and Manchester United where the Dutchman conceded just once whilst making 17 saves.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul conceded two goals and made one save in Monday's loss to West Ham.

West Ham peppered the Newcastle goal with shots, but only three of their 17 found the cage. Unfortunately for Krul, two of those found the back of the net. While Newcastle dominated the possession, little of their movement was productive and forward, finding themselves behind the eight-ball for the whole match. After a pair of fantastic performances from Krul against Manchester United and Arsenal where he conceded once while making 17 saves, Krul came back down to earth on Monday. He'll look to bounce back over the weekend when they take on a newly promoted Watford.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul was phenomenal in a losing effort, making nine saves and only conceding an own goal in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Arsenal.

Krul was peppered with shots early and often and the 10-man Newcastle side for more than three-quarters of the match forced deep in their own zone, Krul did everything he could to preserve a point for the Magpies. After eight saves against Manchester United last week and nine more on Saturday against another Champions League side, Krul has re-established himself as a top keeper, even if the results don't always come with it.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul was sensational on Saturday, making eight saves while keeping a clean sheet in Saturday's goalless draw against Manchester United.

Krul made it through the early onslaught by United, who peppered him with shots throughout the opening 20 minutes and continued to put pressure on him throughout the afternoon. Showing former Dutch national team manager Louis van Gaal that he has the full makeup to be a world class keeper, Krul will need to continue to string together performances like this as Newcastle is never really going to put too many goals up on the board for him.
