Krul was phenomenal in a losing effort, making nine saves and only conceding an own goal in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Arsenal.

Krul was peppered with shots early and often and the 10-man Newcastle side for more than three-quarters of the match forced deep in their own zone, Krul did everything he could to preserve a point for the Magpies. After eight saves against Manchester United last week and nine more on Saturday against another Champions League side, Krul has re-established himself as a top keeper, even if the results don't always come with it.

Krul was sensational on Saturday, making eight saves while keeping a clean sheet in Saturday's goalless draw against Manchester United.

Krul made it through the early onslaught by United, who peppered him with shots throughout the opening 20 minutes and continued to put pressure on him throughout the afternoon. Showing former Dutch national team manager Louis van Gaal that he has the full makeup to be a world class keeper, Krul will need to continue to string together performances like this as Newcastle is never really going to put too many goals up on the board for him.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul lost his clean sheet early in Saturday’s 2-0 loss at Swansea City.

Krul conceded goals to first Bafetimbi Gomis in the ninth minute and later Andre Ayew in the 52nd minute and made a total of four saves across the 90. His cause was not helped by a red card awarded to right back Daryl Janmaat after 41 minutes.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul had a rough season for Newcastle, who allowed the second most goals in the Premier League en route to a narrow escape from relegation.

The 27-year-old did keep eight clean sheets in his 30 appearances, but he was simply beaten too easily on many occasions. Newcastle will undoubtedly look at bringing in another goalkeeper this summer and it remains to be seen what Krul's role will be in 2015-16.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul made four saves but allowed five goals during Newcastle's 5-0 loss to Manchester City on Saturday.

Krul has now allowed multiple goals in three of his last six matches, with just one clean sheet over that span. Up next is a fairly promising home matchup against Aston Villa, though the visitors have been a little more attack-minded under new manager Tim Sherwood.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul made seven saves during Newcastle's 3-0 win over Hull City on Saturday.

Krul's clean sheet came against much lesser competition than his last two matches, which came against Southampton and Chelsea. Thankfully for fantasy owners, he's got a decent opportunity next Sunday at home against Stoke City.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul (ankle) returned to the pitch against Chelsea on Saturday, although he only made two stops during the 2-0 loss.

Krul hadn't played a Premier League match since Nov. 22 against QPR. Despite that long absence, he has five clean sheets over 13 appearances and looks to have recovered from the ankle injury that kept him sidelined.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Krul (ankle) played 45 minutes in an U21 match Thursday and looks likely to return Saturday against Chelsea.

Krul has had some very good games against top opponents over the last two seasons, though coming back against arguably the Premier League's best side after six weeks out makes him a very risky fantasy option.
