Ribery scored just twice and added a mere three assists in 22 appearances in all competitions this season.

Ribery didn't make his season debut until December after suffering an injury last summer, and he wound up starting just 13 matches on the year. The 33-year-old has a year left on his current contract, and he is likely to receive an extension offer from the club, although his lack of general health and the depth around him could limit his role next season.

Ribery returned to training Monday and is fit for Tuesday's Champions League match against Atletico Madrid, according to manager Pep Guardiola.

Ribery has dealt with a multitude of injuries over the past few seasons, but he's always a viable fantasy option when fit. If he is unable to start, Kingsley Coman or Mario Gotze could get the call.

Ribery was not in the squad Saturday for Bayern Munich’s 1-1 draw to Borussia Monchengladbach due to a back problem, according to manager Pep Guardiola.

The French midfielder’s status for Tuesday’s second leg semifinal match against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League is in question following the news that he has been dealing with a back injury recently. Fantasy owners should look to Kingsley Coman or Douglas Costa, who would likely start in place of Ribery.

Ribery came off the bench in the 68th minute and earned an assist in Saturday’s 3-0 win against Schalke 04.

Saturday’s match was the first after the March international break in which Ribery did not start and play a full 90 minutes, yet he still managed to exert his influence in the match by providing the assist for Arturo Vidal’s late goal in Saturday’s win over Schalke 04. Ribery has enjoyed plenty of playing time and solid performances since his return to the pitch in late February. Bayern Munich host Werder Bremen on Tuesday in the DFB Pokal before traveling to the capital to face Hertha Berlin next Saturday.

Ribery scored a beautiful overhead goal and put both of his shots on target in Saturday’s 1-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt.

With three key passes and four crosses, Ribery was by far the most dynamic player on the pitch. He helped seal an important win for Bayern Munich, who continue to edge closer to a Bundesliga title and will host Benfica in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals this Tuesday.

Ribery came onto the pitch in the 56th minute and earned an assist in Bayern Munich’s 2-0 win against Wolfsburg on Saturday.

Ribery has been plagued by injuries all season and made just his fourth appearance for Bayern Munich during this Bundesliga season. He replaced Arjen Robben in Saturday’s contest against Wolfsburg and assisted on Robert Lewandowski’s goal. This was Ribery’s second consecutive game with an assist, and if he stays healthy, he should be a key contributor off the bench for Bayern Munich this season. Next up for Ribery and the rest of the squad is a home match against Mainz 05 this Wednesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ribery earned an assist from four key passes and put in a pair of crosses after entering Saturday's match versus Darmstadt in the 53rd minute.

The veteran was making just his third appearance of the campaign, but he was able to provide a spark off the bench and he picked up his first helper since last season. Ribery seems to be nearing full health after dealing with ankle and thigh injuries, but he is likely to be used primarily as a substitute due to Bayern's depth and his advancing age. Nevertheless, Ribery could feature in Tuesday's Champions League match at Juventus in some capacity.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ribery only managed to make nine appearances for Bayern Munich in 2015 while dealing with various ankle and thigh injuries.

Even when healthy, Ribery will play second fiddle to Douglas Costa without much room for playing time. It's entirely possible for the 32-year-old to find his way into a recurring role before the season comes to an end, but he's currently planted on the bench under manager Pep Guardiola while trying to shake off his lingering thigh injury.
