Brunt overcame a groin injury to grab an assist in Monday's 2-2 draw with Manchester United.

Brunt played in striker Saido Berahino in the 66th minute who made no mistake with the finish. Brunt returned home early from international duty and only resumed training over the weekend. The winger now has three assists on the season and the weekend's clash with Crystal Palace presents a good chance to embellish that number.

Brunt (groin) has yet to resume training after returning from international duty with a groin injury, manager Alan Irvine reported to the official club website.

Brunt (groin) will train on Saturday and manager Alan Irvine is hopeful he won't miss Monday's game against Manchester United. "Chris Brunt was the only one who came back with a problem but we're hopeful. He came back early and fortunately that gave us time to work with him," Irvine said. "He hasn't trained with us yet but he will join us tomorrow." The club captain has already posted two assists this season and, if he's fit, a suspect Man Utd defence presents a good chance to built on that total.

Brunt (groin) has returned home from international duty after suffering a groin injury, according to the Express and Star.

Brunt picked up the injury prior to Saturday's game against the Faroe Islands and it was enough to rule him out of Northern Ireland's game in Greece on Tuesday. West Brom don't play next until the trip to Manchester United next Monday and there's a chance he could be fit enough for the game. Brunt has two assists already this season and a shaky United defence presents a good opportunity to add to his haul.

Brunt was fit enough to start Saturday’s 2-0 defeat against Everton.

Northern Ireland international Brunt recovered well enough to start the game before being later withdrawn for the new signing Sebastian Blanco in the 70th minute. Current captain Brunt has made little impact in the fantasy scoring columns so far this season yet is still expected to pick up around five assists before the campaign is out.

Brunt (calf) should make the squad for Saturday’s game against Everton. “There was a little bit of concern about Chris Brunt, who had a tight calf, he’s trained today as well,” manager Alan Irvine told the official club website.

Brunt (calf) picked the injury up whilst on international duty with the Northern Ireland squad and it was less damaging than first thought. Brunt has been captaining the side thus far and has yet to pick up any assists so far this campaign with fantasy owners able to expect half a dozen at the most.
