Higuain signed a five-year contract with Juventus on Tuesday after transferring from Napoli for a 90 million transfer fee.

Higuain is an elite goal scorer who led Serie A with 36 goals last season, 15 more than the next highest player, who happened to be new teammate Paulo Dybala. Juventus made the major purchase with the expectation that Paul Pogba will be sold to Manchester United for more than 120 million, and while that void will be a big one to fill, Higuain's addition up front cannot be understated. The transfer is the third-highest in history and biggest in Serie A. Higuain was already a front-runner to lead the league in goals, and his move to Juventus will only help him in that endeavor.

Higuain is expected to join Juventus after the club paid the 94.7 million release clause in his contract with Napoli, the BBC reports

Higuain's move will be the third-largest transfer in history and is surely the result of Juventus getting a massive fee from Manchester United for Paul Pogba. Higuain won the golden boot last year and will be a huge addition to a Juventus side that will once again be the dominant favorites to win the league again.

Higuain scored two goals in Argentina's 4-0 win over the United States on Tuesday. It's the second straight match that Higuain has recorded a brace.

Higuain continually found himself behind the USA's back line after multiple errors by the defense. He'll have a harder time in the Copa America final, but with Lionel Messi on his side, will surely get a couple chances to score.

Higuain netted a brace on three shots (two on target) in Saturday's 4-1 Copa America Centenario Venezuela romp.

It seemed like it was already Christmas to Higuain. The striker was given a couple of generous gifts within the first half an hour of the game. First, he received a beautiful through pass from Leo Messi to hammer the opener with a deadly finish and then a Venezuelan defender gifted him the ball on the edge of his own penalty area and the forward doubled his tally for the night. Higuain and Los Gauchos will take on the USA, and their seemingly getting stronger and stronger defense, on Tuesday for a spot on the final of the competition.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Higuain tallied an assist and one shot on target in Argentina's 5-0 romp over Panama on Friday.

Higuain was given credit for the assist after a defensive clearance ricocheted off his head and bounced to Lionel Messi's feet for the latter's first goal of the night. Other than that, the forward was fairly quiet and was replaced for the second consecutive game by Sergio Aguero. The latter scored soon after his introduction and could be given an opportunity for more playing time in the last group stage match versus Bolivia, which would mean that Higuain's fantasy upside could be reduced.

Higuain has scored three times to break the single-season goalscoring record, as Napoli defeated Frosinone 4-0.

A wonderful overhead kick concluded an all-time season for Higuain, who surpassed Gunnar Nordahl's record of 35 goals in 37 appearances for AC Milan in 1949-50. Antonio Valentin Angelillo of Inter Milan scored 33 goals in a season. Angelillo's mark was with a 18-team league schedule. Serie A currently has 20 teams.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Higuain is expected to be officially handed a four-match ban after he was sent off in Napoli's 3-1 loss to Udinese Sunday.

This is a very significant development. This might end any hope Napoli has of winning the Scudetto. However, this opens the door for his very capable replacement, Manolo Gabbiadini, who is trying to win a spot on Italy's Euro 2016 squad.
