Rami was given a yellow card on his lone foul and added seven clearances in Sunday's 2-1 Euro 2016 victory over Ireland that sent France to the quarterfinals.

Rami is the weaker link in the center of the defense providing some vulnerability there but he'll have to miss Les Bleus next match anyways after picking up his second yellow card of the Euro finals. Eliaquim Mangala is next in line to slot alongside Laurent Koscielny.

Rami won three tackles and helped keep a clean sheet during Sunday's goalless draw with Switzerland.

Rami was a rock at the back and helped his side win Group A having allowed just one goal in three matches. He picked up a yellow card on a wild overhead attempt in the opposition's penalty area, but it was just his first of he tournament. Rami also registered an assist in group play, and he should be a central figure for the hosts' defensive unit as they begin the knockout phase versus the third-place side from Group C, D or E next Sunday.

Rami secured three interceptions, earned an assist and helped keep a clean sheet in Wednesday's win over Albania.

Rami played well in defense and helped stifle an impotent Albania attack, but his biggest contribution came as he whipped in a cross that Antoine Griezmann headed home to secure the three points in the 90th minute. Rami has played well through two games and should feature once again as France take on Switzerland Sunday with first place in the group at stake.

Not a good move by AC Milan. Rami was a better player than he was given credit for.
