Negredo tallied two assists and attempted one shot (none on target) in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Sunderland.

Negredo was in good form once again on Sunday, playing the ball off to to Cristhian Stuani in the 13th minute before a tremendous shot put them up 1-0. In the 45th minute, a nice pull-back from the Spaniard and gentle slide of the ball across the six-yard box saw Boro's advantage double on an easy tap-in from Stuani. Negredo had a chance to score one of his own in the second half but a miserable first touch saw the ball harmlessly collected by Vito Mannone. While he fell out of favor at Man City, in 34 Premier League matches between both clubs, he has 10 goals and seven assists, showing he more than has the quality to compete at this level.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Negredo scored a goal on his only shot attempt in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

On loan from Valencia, Negredo wasted little time in marking his return to the Premier League with an awkward but well-positioned header in the 11th minute off a nice ball from Gaston Ramirez. The 30-year-old scored 12 goals in all comps for Valencia last season and will be the focal point of the attack for the freshly-promoted side.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Negredo joined Middlesbrough on a season-long loan from Valencia on Wednesday.

Negredo had some success with Manchester City a few years ago before being considered surplus to requirements and shipped off to Spain. He's dealt with numerous injuries over the years, but he adds a big striking force for the newly promoted side.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Negredo came on in the 57th minute to score the tying goal on two shots in Saturday's 2-1 win over Espanyol.

The 30-year-old might have started on the bench, but he scored for the second straight match as Valencia came from behind to grab the three points. Negredo has just nine goals this season, but four have come in his last eight appearances. Negredo was likely rested after starting two matches in six days prior to Saturday, and he should be expected to return to the starting lineup Sunday versus Granada.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Negredo attempted four shots and scored the tying goal in stoppage time of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Deportivo.

The 30-year-old was largely ineffective in the first portion of the season, but he has seemingly hit his stride since the calendar flipped to 2016, with five of his six total goals coming in January. Negredo has ceded starts to the emerging Paco Alcacer this season, but he stands to benefit from the news that the latter could be out three weeks with an injury. Negredo will likely carry the load while Alcacer recovers, and performances such as this can only help his case for a consistent role when his teammate returns.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Negredo has made eight starts this season for Valencia, scoring two goals.

Five of Negredo’s starts have come in La Liga where he’s scored one goal on 12 shots, with his other goal coming in the UEFA Champions League. He likely continue making starts for Valenia this season as he looks to create more goals and create pressure on opposing defenses.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Negredo had a relatively quiet season for Valencia on loan from Manchester City, scoring six goals with four assists in 30 total appearances (just 14 starts).

After his falling out with Manager Manuel Pellegrini, the Spaniard returned home to join Valencia on loan, but failed to consistently feature in the starting lineup and didn't put up the numbers that his $45 million price tag would suggest. Negredo wants to return to Valencia on a permanent deal next season, when he will hope to rebound from this down year.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Negredo came on for Javi Fuego in the 60th minute and scored the match winner in the 83rd during Valencia's 3-2 win over Almeria on Saturday.

Negredo came into the match with just one goal this season, but he played the hero to help Valencia to fifth in the table. Nevertheless, he'll have to score a lot more to justify his transfer price at the end of the season, with Valencia scheduled to dole out over €20 million to bring him over officially from Manchester City.
