Wondolowski attempted three shots and converted a 59th-minute penalty during Sunday's 1-0 win over Kansas City.

Wondo wasn't as involved as he usually is, but he was still on hand to step up and put his team ahead after a foul in the box. He has a league-leading seven goals in just eight matches, as he continues to find ways to get it done, and he could be among the goals once again next week versus Philadelphia.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wondolowski knocked in San Jose's lone score Saturday as the Earthquakes fell to Portland 3-1 on the road.

Wondolowski punched a right-footed penalty shot to the left of Portland goalkeeper Jake Gleeson in the 90th minute of play Saturday to hand San Jose its only score of the game. The 33-year-old, who has scored in all but one of his seven appearances this season, now heads into a Apr. 44 road match at Sporting KC tied with the Timbers' Fanendo Adi as MLS' leader in scoring (six goals).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wondolowski scored and took five shots in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over New York.

Wondolowski has now scored five goals in just six games this season. Wondolowski has been the main source of scoring for San Jose this season and will likely continue to be moving forward. If he can somewhat keep pace with his start to the season, Wondolowski will remain one of the best fantasy options at the forward position.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wondolowski scored on his only shot during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Dallas.

Wondo put forth a typical goal poacher's performance Saturday, as he took advantage of his only chance despite doing next to nothing else in the box score. He is in the midst of another productive campaign, as he now has four goals in five league matches heading into Wednesday's fixture with the Red Bulls.

Wondolowski scored a goal in Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Portland.

This was the second straight game with a goal for Wondolowski, who is trying to repeat last seasons’ 16-goal performance. He has played a vital role in the offense of San Jose and will likely continue to produce numerous goals as the season gets underway.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wondolowski took four shots and scored an early opening goal in San Jose's 2-0 win over DC United on Saturday.

Wondolowski has three goals in his last two games and looks to have overcome the slump he was in since returning from international duty. San Jose will continue to rely on him as they push toward the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. After two huge away wins over Sporting KC and DC United, they will return home to face the Galaxy on Friday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wondolowski (international duty) will start in Sunday's game against the Whitecaps.

The Earthquakes have been reeling without Wondolowski and his reappearance in the starting XI so soon after his time away at the Gold Cup is not all that surprising when considering San Jose has been outscored 8-2 in their previous three MLS games. His presence should immediately stymie the playing time that Tommy Thompson and Mark Sherrod were receiving.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wondolowski has left the Earthquakes in pursuit of the Gold Cup with the U.S. Men's National Team, Kyle McCarthy of FOX Sports reports.

The exact length of Wondolowski's absence remains undetermined as it depends on how far the U.S. squad advances through the tournament. However, he could be in line to miss the majority of July while J.J. Koval and Tommy Thompson likely benefit in the meantime.
