Henderson was named in England final 23-man squad for Euro 2016.

Henderson has had an injury-riddled season suffering multiple injuries. The limited action he's seen at the end of the season may hurt his chances for a starting spot, at least for the first game. He came off the bench in England's dress rehearsal against Portugal on Thursday. Henderson finished his season for the Reds with two goals and three assists in 17 Premier League appearances (15 starts) and only managed to take part in 26 total appearances across all competitions all season long.

Henderson (knee) is on the bench against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

Liverpool are resting a number of first-team players for the finale, and with Henderson needing to get fit for the Euros this summer, he could very well make an appearance off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Henderson could return from his knee injury Sunday against West Brom, though he's more likely to be available for the Europa League final against Sevilla on Wednesday, manager Jurgen Klopp said Friday.

Henderson hasn't played since the beginning of April due to the injury, so even if he passes fit, he's unlikely to play much in the Premier League season finale.

Henderson (knee) said he is hoping to be fit enough to earn a spot in Liverpool's squad for the Europa League final against Sevilla, reports Sky Sports.

The midfielder suffered ligament damage in April, but has since returned to training. He said he is doing everything he can to be fit, and will assess his progress over the coming weeks. He remains out of the final games of the Premier League season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Henderson is unlikely to return this season for Liverpool, but should be able to play for England this summer in the European Championships. "Hendo is in a really good way, so it is really good for England because there is no doubt at this moment about being fit for the European Championships," manager Jurgen Klopp said.

The Liverpool skipper has struggled with a knee injury over the past few weeks, but while is inching closer to returning, Klopp doesn't want to rush him back. With the Euros still more than a month away, Henderson should have time to work back to fitness by that time and could even return for the Europa League final on May 18. The holding midfielder has two goals and three assists in 16 Premier League matches this season.

England manager Roy Hodgson will get an update this Thursday on Henderson's injury and whether or not the midfielder may be in contention to be fit in time for this summer's Euro championship, reports the Daily Mail.

Henderson is going to miss the remainder of the Premier League season with a knee injury in the last tie against Dortmund. The England manager will get an update as to how the midfielder has responded to early treatment, and whether or not he might have a chance of being fit for the summer tournament.

Henderson will miss the rest of the season because of the knee injury he suffered in Thursday's Europa League match against Borussia Dortmund, manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed Friday.

Henderson is expected to be sidelined for six-to-eight weeks, and if his recovery takes any longer than that, he could be in danger of missing the European Championships this summer.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Henderson suffered a potentially serious knee injury during Thursday's Europa League match against Borussia Dortmund, according to manager Jurgen Klopp.

Henderson hasn't been a great fantasy option this season despite Liverpool's high-scoring attack, but he's still a vital piece of the midfield. Joe Allen is likely to get a consistent run of starts if Henderson's injury is confirmed to be serious.
