Clark (ankle) trained Thursday and should be available for Saturday's match against Watford.

Clark was getting some fairly regular starts before the injury, so if he avoids any setbacks before kickoff, he could slot back into the first XI against a Watford side that has struggled scoring of late.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clark faces a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's match against Southampton because of an ankle injury.

Clark has been a steady starter of late, though Villa continue to be very poor defensively and his fantasy upside is fairly restricted to clean sheets, which have been few and far between this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clark has participated in light training this week and could play Saturday against Bournemouth after missing last weekend's match against Chelsea with a calf injury.

Clark has moved in and out of the lineup this season, as Villa actually have a number of qualified centerbacks. If Clark is unable to play, Micah Richards, Joleon Lescott and Jores Okore will compete for playing time.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clark was introduced in stoppage time of the 2-0 win over Norwich on Saturday, finishing with one clearance and three touches.

Clark had his opportunity to take a shot at the starting center-back position but faded over time and with Joleon Lescott currently drinking from the fountain of youth, the former's fantasy value is very limited off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clark served his one-game suspension and will be available for selection Sunday versus Arsenal.

The Irish will be called upon duty immediately and will push Jores Okore back to the bench. If skipper Micah Richards continues to be sidelined Clark will partner Joleon Lescott at center back.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clark is suspended for one game due to yellow card accumulation.

He's been the clear-cut starting XI choice for new manager Remi Garde as Micah Richards' partner in the center of the Villa defense. Clark will miss the tough visit to St Mary's Stadium where he'll be replaced by Joleon Lescott.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clark made team-leading 11 clearances and added two blocked shots en route to a defensive clean sheet in Sundayís scoreless home draw versus Manchester City.

The Irish international got the first nod, under new manager Remi Garde, for the starting center-back over Joleon Lescott. Thatís his third straight start since his return and heís been solid. Micah Richards is probably cemented for the other position but expect somewhere along the way new man Garde to give a chance to Lescott too. Consider that Clark is just a caution away from his fifth booking and an automatic one-game suspension subsequently.
