Sando (knee) will be available for Wednesday's match against Arsenal, manager Chris Ramsey confirmed Tuesday.

Sandro has been sidelined since November due to the injury, and while he can make a difference in the Rs' midfield, he's a fairly limited fantasy option.

Sandro will be sidelined for the rest of 2014 after suffering a knee injury Saturday against Newcastle, the BBC reports.

The club confirmed it is not an ACL injury, but is related to his medial ligaments. Sandro is primarily a defensive midfielder on a team that isn't great defensively, so there likely a large number of season-long fantasy teams affected by the news.

Sandro did not play last Saturday against Stoke City after injured his knee during training, Sky Sports reports. "It was a stupid injury," manager Harry Redknapp said. "He scored a goal in training and slid on his knee like a lot of players do. I don't know why the players do it. The pitch was bone dry so he skidded. His knee has gone bang into the turf and I watched him trying to get up wondering 'what's he done here?' Sure enough, he wasn't fit for Saturday."

Sandro has scored only three times in 81 Premier League matches, so it's understandable that he would mess up a goal celebration. Given his role as a defensive midfielder, his fantasy value remains limited.

Sandro started for QPR in the team's loss to Manchester United on Sunday, but he had to be subbed off after 17 minutes due to a cramp.

Not the best of debuts for Sandro, who was signed from Tottenham a couple weeks ago. Sandro didn't have much of a fantasy impact with Spurs, and if anything he has less value now that he's with this struggling QPR side.

Sandro signed a three-year contract with Queens Park Rangers on Monday after transferring from Tottenham.

Sandro is reunited with Harry Redknapp, who signed him when he headed up Spurs. The 25-year-old had fallen out of favor at White Hart Lane and should get consistent playing time at QPR, although his fantasy upside is a bit limited given his positional qualities.

Sandro will not travel with Tottenham for its preseason tour in the United States and Canada because of virus, The Guardian reports.

Sandro fell out of favor with former manager Tim Sherwood last season, but he could get a chance to earn his spot back in the starting XI under new manager Mauricio Pochettino. While more playing time would certainly boost his value, he's not a strong enough contributor on the attack to warrant significant fantasy value.

Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood confirmed that Sandro, who was not in the 18 on Saturday against Fulham, is not injured but simply "not good enough to be in the side at the moment," the Daily Express reports.

Sherwood noted that Sandro has fallen behind Nacer Chadli and Paulinho on the depth chart, which doesn't leave much room for Sandro. If Sherwood is going to stick around for another season, which is definitely a big 'if,' then Sandro may be looking for a new home this summer.

Sandro tweeted Saturday that he is not injured, but he is also not included in the 18 against Fulham.

Sandro was believed to be out with a calf injury, but his announcement that he is not injured certainly raised some questions. It appears he's fallen enough out of favor with manager Tim Sherwood that he doesn't even make the bench Saturday, which could indicate another potential move this summer.
