Lukaku (hamstring) is available off the bench for Saturday's match against Burnley.

Lukaku has been battling his hamstring injury for a few weeks and was a serious doubt for Saturday's tie. While he is healthy enough to make the bench, Arouna Kone will get the start up top.

Lukaku (hamstring) is expected to play Saturday against Burnley, manager Roberto Martinez said Tuesday.

Lukaku was close to returning last weekend against Swansea but wasn't quite up to full fitness. However, he's been training with the group early this week, which will allow him to return in a fine matchup for fantasy purposes.

Lukaku (hamstring) is not in the 18-man squad to face Swansea City on Saturday.

Manager Roberto Martinez described Lukaku as 50/50 for much of the week, but the Belgian striker hadn't even joined first-team training as of Thursday. Arouna Kone will start in Lukaku's place.

Lukaku (hamstring) has not rejoined full training yet and is considered 50/50 for Saturday's match against Swansea City. "At this stage of the season we need to be certain he is well healed," manager Roberto Martinez said Thursday. "It is not a major problem and he has been working well in the last two days, even though he hasn't joined the group yet."

It certainly isn't good news that Lukaku hasn't even joined the group yet, and even if he does manage to do that Friday, it's hard to believe that he will be fully match fit by Saturday. If he is unable to play, Arouna Kone will likely get the start in his place.

Lukaku is expected to return from his hamstring injury to play Saturday against Swansea City, manager Roberto Martinez said Tuesday.

Lukaku was unable to play for Belgium over the last international break due to the ailment and then missed out on last weekend's match against Southampton. While Martinez did not guarantee Lukaku would play, as he's still not training fully with the group yet, he was very optimistic that his starting striker would return.

Lukaku will not play Saturday against Southampton because of a hamstring injury.

Lukaku suffered the injury before the international break and was unable to play for Belgium. Unfortunately, the time off wasn't enough and he'll have to wait until next Saturday against Swansea City to return. Arouna Kone will start in his place against the Saints.

Lukaku will face a late fitness test on Friday after missing Belgium's Euro 2016 qualifiers with a hamstring injury, according to the Official Team Website.

Manager Roberto Martinez described Lukaku as "50/50" so it sounds as if his status is truly up in the air leading up to Friday. If the Belgian striker does miss this weekend's match, he could be replaced in the lineup by Kevin Mirallas, who has returned to training this week for the first time since mid-March.

Lukaku, who suffered a hamstring injury last weekend against QPR and had to withdraw from Belgium's two matches over the international break, may be able to return April 4 against Southampton, the Liverpool Echo reports.

It was initially believed that Lukaku could miss three weeks due to the ailment, but manager Roberto Martinez noted that Lukaku usually heals quickly and could beat that estimate.
