Lukaku led Everton with five shots and scored their lone goal in a 1-1 draw to Liverpool on Sunday.

The Mercyside Derby was full or drama and angst, as Lukaku got in a bit of a scuffle at the end of the match with Liverpool's Mamadou Sahko. The Belgian was active all game long and scored his goal on a deflected pass that fell nicely to his favorable left foot. Lukaku now has five goals and two assists in eight games, so it appears he's in top form, especially with how tough the schedule has been up to this point. After an international break, Everton take on Manchester United on the 17th in their next fixture.

Lukaku scored two goals on two shots (two on target) and added an assist in Monday's 3-2 victory over West Brom.

Lukaku had a hand in all three goals, scoring in the 55th minute to cut the deficit to one and then the match-winner in the 84th minute. He also provided good service to Arouna Kone on the equalizer and was far and away the man of the match. His productivity and pace caused the Baggies fits in the second half. He now has four goals and two assists on the season in seven matches and has proved himself an elite target man in the Premier League.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lukaku led Everton with six shots in a 0-0 draw to Swansea City on Saturday.

Lukaku has just two goals and one assist in his first six games, but he's been playing actively up top. The Belgian is a very streaky player and once he finds the back of the net, the goals should be coming in bunches. The minor slump is nothing to worry about as the schedule eases up over the next month or so. Lukaku will look to score on his former team in West Brom next Monday.

Lukaku was his usual self on Sunday, but he just couldn't provide on the score sheet. His work rate and ability to score is infectious and Everton will need him to keep up his strong form if they are to fight for a European spot.

Lukaku said he spent a good deal of his summer training in order to be as fit as possible for the coming season after failing to reach his highest potential last season, reports the Daily Mail.

The striker said he would spent up to three hours a day training in the summer, and feels much fitter this year. He did not do the same preseason training ahead of the last season, but was still an impressive option for Everton. He scored twice in the team's win last weekend over Southampton.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lukaku was brilliant on Saturday, scoring two goals on three shots in a 3-0 win over Southampton.

It's performances like these that make Lukaku look so impressive and Everton are going to need more games like this if they are to challenge for a spot in the Champions League. Everton's next match will be against Manchester City next Sunday as they face a dreadful run of games, playing five games in a row against teams that finished in the top-eight last season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lukaku got the start Saturday and grabbed an assist and recorded two shots in a 2-2 draw to Watford.

Lukaku was aggressive all game long as he won five aerial battles and got called offsides on three separate occasions. The aggressiveness is a good sign as he was coming into the season with a minor knock. Look for him to be a good source of assists and goals for the remainder of the campaign. He and Everton take on Southampton next Saturday.

Lukaku (hamstring) is starting Saturday against Watford.

Lukaku was given a late fitness test for his injury, but he has apparently passed fit enough to get the start. Watford have 10 new players this season, so their defensive familiarity may be a bit light, giving Lukaku plenty of opportunities at goal.
