In addition to other clubs, Southampton is now also interested in bringing Chicharito to the team as part of an agreement on the transfer of Luke Shaw, reports the Daily Mail.

The Mexican striker is also being targeted by Inter Milan and Valencia. He would serve as a reinforcement of the squad for a number of players that are expected to leave the club this summer.

Inter Milan is reportedly trying to bring Chicharito to the club on loan with the potential of making the move permanent, reports the Daily Mail.

Inter are looking at both Chicharito and Fernando Torres. The Mexican striker scored four goals from 18 shots this past season, making 24 appearances for Manchester United.

Chicharito came on for Wayne Rooney in the 75th minute and scored one minute in extra time during Saturday's 4-1 win over Aston Villa.

Chicharito has a reputation of being able to score late goals, and he did just that Saturday. Unfortunately, it's a rather weak skill for fantasy purposes, as the goal was his first in Premier League play since January 19 against Chelsea, and second since October 26 against Stoke. Even with Robin van Persie sidelined, he is a weak fantasy option.

Chicharito (knee) was available off the bench for Wednesday's Champions League match against Olympiakos, although he did not play.

Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck all started the match, leaving Chicharito as the only striker available on the bench. It's unclear if he is fully fit after sitting out since earlier this month with a knee injury, although he may be closer to getting more playing time if RVP is forced to miss any time after picking up a knock at the end of Wednesday's game.

Chicharito (knee) has returned to training and may be available for Sunday's match against Liverpool, ESPN FC reports.

Chicharito suffered a knee injury while on international duty last week and was unavailable for last weekend's match against West Brom. It will be good for him to get back to fitness, although he isn't likely to have a major impact this weekend with Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck all fit.

Chicharito's (knee) agent denied reports that suggested the Mexico international was on his way to Inter Milan, reports Sky Sports.

Speculation continues to be rife that Chicharito is not getting enough playing time at Manchester United, and that the player would seek a transfer. His agent said that no concrete offers have been received, and he has no plans to meet with United.

Chicharito suffered a knee injury during Wednesday's international friendly against Nigeria after colliding with goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, Sky Sports reports. Mexico national team doctor Jose Vazquez said "We have to wait to see how it evolves and to run the relevant tests. It's a blow, but we rule out the possibility of a knee ligament strain. There is only pain and there is no indication of instability in the knee."

Chicharito has had limited time in Premier League matches this season, with Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney getting the starts up front and Danny Welbeck usually getting the call to spell one of them. Chicharito is a major part of the Mexico national team, although it sounds like the injury is not likely to put his role in the World Cup in jeopardy.

Chicharito's manager confirmed that the forward would not be leaving Manchester United after turning down interest from Europe, reports Sky Sports.

Eduardo Hernandez said that he had meetings with "a few clubs" interested in bringing in Chicharito, however the forward would be staying at United. Speculation remains that the Mexican may be sold in the summer.
