Chicharito has joined Real Madrid on loan for the season with an option to buy.

Chicharito wasn't getting any playing time at Manchester United and was openly not part of manager Louis van Gaal's plans for the season. He'll move to a Madrid side where he'll be Karim Benzema's backup, which has higher fantasy value than not playing at Man U.

Real Madrid have reportedly agreed to terms with Manchester United on a one-year loan deal for Chicharito, according the AS.

Chicharito wasn't in new United manager Louis van Gaal's plans for the upcoming season, although being sent to Real Madrid will hardly get him more playing time. While his fantasy value totally drops in fantasy Premier League, his La Liga fantasy value isn't much higher than it was in the Prem.

Chicharito started Saturday's Premier League opener against Swansea City, but he was subbed off at halftime without taking a shot.

Chicharito got the start with Robin van Persie rested and Danny Welbeck injured, but after his lackluster performance, it may be time for him to find a new home. He's been heavily linked to a number of Serie A clubs this summer, most recently with Juventus in a potential trade for Arturo Vidal.

Chicharito's manager said news would be revealed soon that could send the Mexican to Italy in exchange for Arturo Vidal, reports the Daily Mail.

Chicharito is one of the players at Manchester United that the team is willing to listen to offers for, though Vidal indicated that he is happy at Juventus. The rumors of a trade continue to persist, though.

In addition to other clubs, Southampton is now also interested in bringing Chicharito to the team as part of an agreement on the transfer of Luke Shaw, reports the Daily Mail.

The Mexican striker is also being targeted by Inter Milan and Valencia. He would serve as a reinforcement of the squad for a number of players that are expected to leave the club this summer.

Inter Milan is reportedly trying to bring Chicharito to the club on loan with the potential of making the move permanent, reports the Daily Mail.

Inter are looking at both Chicharito and Fernando Torres. The Mexican striker scored four goals from 18 shots this past season, making 24 appearances for Manchester United.

Chicharito came on for Wayne Rooney in the 75th minute and scored one minute in extra time during Saturday's 4-1 win over Aston Villa.

Chicharito has a reputation of being able to score late goals, and he did just that Saturday. Unfortunately, it's a rather weak skill for fantasy purposes, as the goal was his first in Premier League play since January 19 against Chelsea, and second since October 26 against Stoke. Even with Robin van Persie sidelined, he is a weak fantasy option.

Chicharito (knee) was available off the bench for Wednesday's Champions League match against Olympiakos, although he did not play.

Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck all started the match, leaving Chicharito as the only striker available on the bench. It's unclear if he is fully fit after sitting out since earlier this month with a knee injury, although he may be closer to getting more playing time if RVP is forced to miss any time after picking up a knock at the end of Wednesday's game.
