Cameron was on the sideline for the US National Team friendly against Puerto Rico as he works his way back from a hamstring injury, Steven Goff of the Washington Post reports.

Cameron exited the pitch after 80 minutes of action with a hamstring injury and while he is expected to suit up for the opening match of the Copa America against Colombia, he will likely face a late fitness test. The 30-year-old was a consistent presence on the Stoke City back line as he made 27 EPL starts along with an additional three appearances off the bench. The notoriously leaky American defense will be that much worse without Cameron and will need him to get back to healthy if they are going to make a deep run for the trophy.

Cameron was unable to train Thursday due to an illness, though he could return from his leg injury for Sunday's match against Liverpool, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

Cameron picked up a knock over the international break, but it wasn't expected to hold him out long. With Ryan Shawcross possibly returning from his back injury, Cameron may be given some extra time to recover.

Cameron came back from the international break "a bit stiff," according to manager Mark Hughes and is a late fitness test for the match against Swansea.

Cameron was added to the long list of injuries for Stoke this weekend. With Glen Johnson and Ryan Shawcross out, it'll be tough for Stoke to grab a clean sheet, even in a favorable matchup against Swansea. Marc Muniesa and Phil Bardsley will likely be called upon again on the back line.

Cameron (ankle) is starting Saturday against Chelsea.

Cameron's ankle continues to bother him, but with Stoke dealing with numerous injuries throughout their back line, he will play through the pain barrier in a less-than-ideal matchup.

Cameron has been feeling soreness in his ankle, and he faces a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's match against Chelsea.

Cameron was forced to play rightback during Stoke's midweek match, which put more pressure on his ankle than if he played at centerback. Given the issues, he'll likely move back inside if he's fit enough to play.

Cameron (ankle) is starting Saturday against Aston Villa.

Cameron has been out since suffering the injury in the beginning of January, but he'll slot right back into the starting lineup alongside Philipp Wollscheid Saturday given Stoke's plethora of injuries in the back.

Cameron could return from his ankle injury to play Aston Villa on Saturday, manager Mark Hughes said Friday.

Cameron has already missed six matches due to the ailment, but he could be thrust right back into the starting XI, as Glen Johnson, Ryan Shawcross and Marc Muniesa have all been ruled out for Saturday's fixture.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cameron (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Bournemouth.

Cameron has missed the last five matches. The absence of him and Ryan Shawcross have led to minutes for Marc Muniesa and Phil Bardsley, neither of which deserve much fantasy attention as Stoke have allowed nine goals in the last three matches.
