Shaqiri (hamstring) is starting Saturday against Leicester.

Shaqiri returns to the starting XI after missing last weekend's match, and he'll be tasked with plenty in the attack with Bojan on the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shaqiri (hamstring) returned to training Thursday and could be available to play Saturday against Leicester City.

Shaqiri has not played since Stoke's Capital One Cup loss to Liverpool back on Jan. 5, and while a return to training is certainly a big boost, it's unclear if manager Mark Hughes would slot Shaqiri right back into the starting XI after missing a number of weeks. If he does, Jonathan Walters could move back to the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shaqiri is expected to miss Stoke's match against Arsenal this Sunday as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury, reports the Daily Mail.

The midfielder missed Wednesday's match against Norwich. The loss is big for Stoke since Shaqiri has been productive for the side, and the same is true for fantasy owners.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shaqiri will not play Wednesday against Norwich because of a hamstring injury, and he will have a scan before Sunday's game against Arsenal.

Shaqiri has been a solid fantasy producer of late after a slow start to the season, and his absence will shuffle the Potters' attack a bit, as Bojan moves into the No. 10 role and Joselu gets the start up front, with Marko Arnautovic and Jonathan Walters on the wings.

Shaqiri scored two goals on two shots (two on target) in Monday's 4-3 victory over Everton.

After some good build-up play led to the first goal for the Swiss international, the second goal was all Shaqiri as he flicked the ball over Tim Howard into the corner of the net from a million yards out. After a slow start, the high-priced transfer from Inter Milan has two goals and two assists in his last five matches.

Shaqiri (thigh) is starting Saturday against Crystal Palace.

Shaqiri missed last weekend's match due to the ailment, but he apparently showed enough in his late fitness test to warrant a start. Palace have been fairly good defensively this season, though Shaqiri has been able to produce in fantasy formats that give points for peripheral stats outside of goals and assists.

Shaqiri (thigh) will have a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's match against Crystal Palace, manager Mark Hughes said Friday.

Shaqiri has participated in a number of light training sessions this week but has been unable to put in a full practice, which is why he's still not fully cleared to face Palace. The club's record signing has been a key figure in the Potters' attack this season, so his return will surely be a plus against a solid Palace defense.

Ibrahim Affelay will enter the starting lineup in Shaqiri's absence.
