Muller is on the bench for Saturday's match against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Muller may feature later in the match, but he will start the match from the bench. This may just be Carlos Ancelotti resting his star in order to play him in future matches. Douglas Costa, Robert Lewandowski, and Arjen Robben will get the start in attack.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Muller scored a goal on seven shots (four on target), played three key passes, and won one aerial duel before coming off in the 70th minute of Wednesday's 4-1 Champions League group stage win against PSV Eindhoven.

Muller opened the scoring on a quickly taken corner by Arjen Robben, side-stepping a defender and hammering his shot into the roof of the net. The goal was Muller's second of the Champions League group stage, although surprisingly he has yet to score in the Bundesliga. He will have a chance to get off the mark this Saturday at home against Borussia Monchengladbach.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Muller is in the starting XI for Wednesday's match with Hertha Berlin.

Muller and David Alaba were both battling a stomach virus, but have gained enough fitness to play in Wednesday's huge Bundesliga match. Muller will play up front with Franck Ribery and Robert Lewandowski.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Muller will miss Saturday's match against Ingolstadt due to a stomach virus.

Muller has one goal and three assists in all competitions so far this season but won't be able to add to his tally this Saturday after succumbing to a stomach virus that is making its way around the Bayern Munich squad, impacting Philipp Lahm and David Alaba as well. Kingsley Coman is the most likely to earn the start in Muller's absence after fully recovering from an ankle injury sustained a few weeks ago. Muller may be able to return to the starting lineup in the midweek matchup next Wednesdsy, 21 Sept against Hertha Berlin.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Muller scored in Bayern's 5-0 Champions win against Rostov on Tuesday. He finished with one shot and two successful tackles in a full 90 minutes.

It was good to see from Muller, who hasn't found the back of the net in league play yet. He'll hopefully bring that form in this weekend's match against Ingolstadt.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Muller provided three assists on four key passes and won a team-high five aerial duels in Friday's 6-0 win against Werder Bremen. He put two of his six shots on target, hitting the post on one chance in the first half.

Muller's performance on the pitch was nothing short of dominant. He is a top fantasy play along with fellow forward Robert Lewandowski, and while he wasn't able to score a goal Friday, he will surely see plenty of his shots find the back of the net this season. Bayern Munich's next match is against Schalke 04 on 9 Sept, after the international break.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Muller fired off six shots, played in five crosses and assisted on the only goal in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Northern Ireland.

Muller put forth a dynamic offensive display Tuesday, leading the team in shots, two of which came back off the woodwork, and intelligently laying the ball off to Mario Gomez to slot home after busting into the opposition's penalty area in the 29th minute. Muller has still yet to score in the tournament, but he seems to be elevating his level of play as time goes on and will look to break his duck Sunday versus the third-place finisher from Group A, B or F in the knockout phase.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Muller scored a career-high 32 goals and added seven assists in all competitions this season.

The 26-year-old has already accomplished a great deal in his career, and he took it to a new level this season by finishing third in Bundesliga scoring and adding another eight tallies in just nine Champions League starts. Muller fits in exceptionally well with the array of talent Bayern have assembled, and despite ongoing interest from abroad, he appears set for another strong season with the German champions after returning from Euro 2016 duty this summer.
