Smalling took two shots off target en route to a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 win over Norwich.

Smalling was so close to scoring his first Premier League goal of the season but his header just breezed over the crossbar. Regardless of this misfortune, though, he still gets another solid chunk of fantasy points keeping his 17th clean sheet of 33 Premier League games. The Red Devils are having a double-header next week visiting Upton Park on Tuesday for a clash with the Hammers and finishing the season at home against the Cherries in the season finale.

Smalling was named Manchester United's Payers' Player of the Year at the end-of-season awards dinner Monday night, reports the Daily Mail.

Smalling said it was an honor to be given the award by his peers. He has been a solid performer in the back line this season, helping to deliver 16 clean sheets for the side this season.

Smalling notched an own goal in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final victory over Everton.

Smalling got the Toffees back in the game with a clumsy clearance. The defender tried to clear a no-danger ball with his right foot when the ball was clearly coming to his left side. As a result he slipped and only managed to take a slight deflection on the ball, fooling David de Gea, and sending it into his own net. Smalling's mini-slump continues but the Red Devils' ability to keep clean sheets and win keeps his fantasy upside fairly high. Also, in his next game, he's facing the Foxes, who are going to be without Jamie Vardy.

Smalling took one shot off target and a clean sheet in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Smalling endured another awfully quiet game in almost every statistical category. He's been pretty invisible of late. That hasn't changed his fantasy status much, though, since outside the clean sheets he hasn't been much of a factor all season long, anyways. His next Premier League fixture doesn't come until May 1 when he faces the Foxes, who could be without Jamie Vardy.

Smalling recorded one blocked shot en route to a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Aston Villa.

Smalling has been invisible the last two Premier League games but with 46 games across all competition already on his shoulders, fatigue is a natural occurrence at this stage of the season. While he's had three clean sheets in his last four games, he's only had one assist in 30 Premier League games to go along with eight yellow cards. The Red Devils are facing the Eagles on Wednesday in another favorable defensive match-up, though.

Smalling was issued a yellow card and kept a clean sheet in Sunday's 1-0 victory over Everton.

In what's becoming a startling trend, Smalling picked up yet another yellow card, bringing his total up to seven in his past 11 matches and he has eight in the Premier League, putting him just two away from a potentially disastrous suspension at the end of the season. That's now back-to-back clean sheets for the English center back as United's plodding pace helps keep teams frustrated and away from the United half.

Smalling was issued a yellow card and kept a clean sheet in Sunday's 1-0 victory over Manchester City.

Smalling was lucky to avoid being sent off thanks to a second yellow card, but was outstanding throughout the match, despite his propensity for rash challenges. After just one yellow card in the team's first 18 matches, he's picked up six in the 10 matches he's played in since. Regardless, he's probably the best and most consistent member of United's defensive corps that's been decimated by injury.
