Walters (knee) could return Saturday against Sunderland.

Walters has missed the last four games after undergoing knee surgery, and while he's not a prolific goal-scorer, Stoke have just one goal in their last three. Given his return from surgery, it would be surprising if he was inserted back into the starting lineup right away.

A quick turnaround after last weekend's matches could lead to some squad rotation, but that won't stop Jamie Vardy from topping one of the positional rankings.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walters (knee) is out for Saturday's match against Manchester City.

Walters' initial prognosis was that he'd be out for the season, but it appears as if he could still play this season. Walters had probably his best match of the season, scoring a goal and tallying an assist in his last match before succumbing to this knee injury; however, it's unclear how much he'll get to play before the end of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walters will miss the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

Walters' playing time has been inconsistent this year, which has had a direct affect on his relatively low fantasy value in most formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walters will not play in Friday's international friendly with Switzerland because of a minor hamstring injury, but he may be able to return next week against Solvakia.

Walters has had a fairly good season for Stoke, and the possibility of playing for Republic of Ireland next week should mean that he won't miss any Premier League action.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walters had one goal and one assist in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Watford.

Walters received his first start since March 2 and recorded his first league goal since Jan. 13. Stoke City have been mauled by injuries this season and Walters received the start in the midfield as Xherdan Shaqiri is sidelined with a thigh injury. Walters played well Saturday and his next match is April 2 versus Swansea City, who have allowed 22 away goals, sixth-worst in league play.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walters totaled an assist and three shots on Saturday in a 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

Despite missing last week's match versus Everton with an illness, Walters was back in the starting role on Saturday. That's a good sign. He's never been known as the most creative forward, but Walters set up Stoke's second goal perfectly, making a long run down the right flank before picking out a centering pass to Ibrahim Afellay for the game's second goal.

Walters (illness) is starting Saturday against Bournemouth.

Walters was held out of last weekend's match due to the ailment, but it was never considered overly serious, and he'll slot right back into his starting spot in the Potters' attack.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walters missed last week's match due to illness but will be available to play against Bournemouth on Saturday, according to manager Mark Hughes.

Walters has four goals on the season, with three coming at home. He scored in the first match against Bournemouth, but Stoke City has failed to find the back of the net in four straight.
