Ramos was at fault for Croatia's first goal and then had his penalty kick blocked in the second half that would have put Spain back in the lead. Instead, Croatia came out on top 2-1 on Tuesday. Ramos finished with four shots and won eight balls in the air.

At the least, Ramos didn't pick up a yellow card that would see him miss the next match. A clean sheet will be a possibility next game as Italy plays extremely defensive.

Ramos was issued a yellow card and kept a clean sheet in Friday's 3-0 victory over Turkey at the Euros.

Ramos picked up a yellow card within the opening minute of the first half, a potentially ominous start for the Real Madrid skipper. Ramos just played 23 matches in La Liga thanks to a yellow card accumulation suspension and two indirect card suspensions. In his final eight domestic matches, Ramos picked up seven yellow cards, which could be something to watch moving through this tournament as cards do not reset until the quarterfinals.

Ramos and the Spain back line held Czech Republic scoreless in Monday's 1-0 win. Ramos was his usual self, attacking at times with three shots total and 8.3 percent of the overall possession.

Ramos will always be a goal threat off corners and that will be the case for the rest of the tournament. Clean sheets will also be good possibilities in Spain's next two matches against Turkey and Croatia.

Ramos has been named in Spain final 23-man squad for Euro 2016.

Despite missing chunks of Real Madrid's last season Sergio Ramos still plays an integral role in La Furia's defense whenever available. He is a high-risk, high-reward fantasy player with a knack to go forward but also a knack to earn cards.

Ramos netted the opener and converted a penalty in Saturday's Champions League final penalty shoot-out win over Atletico Madrid.

The skipper lifted the trophy after grabbing his first CL goal for the season in a masterpiece final. He will end the season with two goals, two assists, seven yellow and two red cards, eight clean sheets and 35 tackles in 23 La Liga games taking part in 33 total games across all competitions.

Ramos had one of his most difficult seasons with Real Madrid this past year, only appearing in 23 matches due to injuries and late-season red cards. He closed the season at full strength though, helping Real reach the Champions League final.

At 30 years old, Ramos has yet another big summer ahead of him with the UEFA Champions League final and Euro 2016 only a couple weeks later. He may be getting older, but he's still as valuable as ever for club and country and can provide in more ways than one in terms of fantasy, due to his penchant for getting forward.

Ramos made a pair of interceptions, blocked two shots and won a whopping nine tackles in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Roma.

While he made no impact at the offensive end, Ramos' dominance in his own defensive third was crucial to his club's success, as Roma threatened throughout. Ramos' offensive production has been sparse this season, making him rather reliant on clean sheets to generate fantasy points, but he does carry some value in formats that reward defensive stats. He will captain Los Blancos once again this weekend versus Malaga.

Ramos provided an assist in Saturday's 5-0 thumping of Deportivo, but he was forced off the pitch at half time because of a calf injury, the Daily Mail reports.

The captain has downplayed the severity of the injury, and Real Madrid's comfortable standing in the match likely allowed them to exercise caution with their star defender. Ramos could be available for Sunday's home match versus Sporting Gijon, but the winnable nature of the fixture could see him held out as a precaution, if he is deemed to be at less than 100 percent.
