Bojan scored a goal and was issued a yellow card in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Leicester City.

Bojan (knee) could feature in Stoke's Capital One Cup match against Luton Town on Tuesday, assistant manager Mark Bowen said Monday.

Bojan has yet to make an appearance this season as he continues to recover from a torn ACL, and while he may feature in the Capital One Cup for the first time this season, he's still likely a few weeks away from getting a Premier League start in a suddenly packed Stoke attacking midfield.

Stoke manager Mark Hughes said Bojan is still a "couple of weeks" away from making his season debut, as he continues to recover from a torn ACL, reports.

Bojan made a number of preseason appearances, but he's still way short of match fitness after being out since suffering the injury in January. He's likely to get consistent playing time when he's fit, but again, it's still going to be a while before he gets there.

Bojan (knee) played 45 minutes in Saturday's friendly against Brentford.

Bojan had not played a first-team match of any kind after tearing his ACL back in January, but he's progressing very quickly in his recovery and it appears he has a shot of being available for Stoke's Premier League opener Aug. 9 against Liverpool.

Bojan continues to recover from a torn ACL, and he will travel with the squad to Singapore for the Barclays Asia Trophy, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

Bojan will not play in any games during the tour, and he has not returned to anything close to full training, but he's at least moving in the right direction. With the Premier League season exactly a month away, it looks likely that Bojan will not be fully fit for the opener Aug. 9 against Liverpool, but he could be ready in the following weeks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bojan is progressing in his recovery from a torn ACL, and manager Mark Hughes said Bojan could be available for the 2015/16 season opener on August 8, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

The recovery timeline seems quite quick, as Bojan suffered the injury in January, so it's best to take the optimism with a grain of salt.
