Coutinho (hamstring) will feature during Tuesday's FA Cup match against West Ham, manager Jurgen Klopp said Monday.

Klopp would not let on whether Coutinho would start or not, but it's certainly encouraging that he's fit enough to make the squad and at least is in the plan to play. He noted that because extra time is a possibility, he'll have to figure out when to play Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi, who are all returning from injury. If Coutinho is able to play and doesn't suffer any setbacks, he'll have a chance to start Sunday's Premier League match against Aston Villa.

Coutinho could return from his hamstring injury for Tuesday's FA Cup match against West Ham, manager Jurgen Klopp said Friday.

Coutinho suffered the injury in early January and was expected to miss about three weeks, a timeline he's already surpassed. The Liverpool midfield has been fairly productive of late, though Coutinho shouldn't have too much trouble getting his starting spot back once he's fully fit.

Coutinho is expected to be out for at least three weeks because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Tuesday's Capital One Cup match against Stoke City, manager Jurgen Klopp said Thursday.

Coutinho's injury comes at a terrible time for Liverpool, as they are also without Jordan Henderson (foot), while forwards Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi are also dealing with hamstring injury. James Milner is recently returned from injury, which should help ease some of the blow, but fantasy owners will need to find a Coutinho alternative for a number of Premier League matches.

Coutinho suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of Tuesday's Capital One Cup match versus Stoke, ESPN FC reports.

The Brazilian only lasted 18 minutes before being substituted because of the injury, and it is unclear how long he could be sidelined. Coutinho should be considered questionable at best for Friday's FA Cup match versus Exeter, with the Jan. 13 Premier League match versus Arsenal representing a more realistic return date.

Coutinho lined up six shots off target garnished with five crosses and two key passes in the dreadful 2-0 loss to West Ham on Saturday.

The Brazilian was on fire before his hamstring injury but has been completely off since his return mid-December. He has been able to neither score nor assist in five Premier League games now. The Reds desperately need him to step up and there wouldn't be a more convenient time for that to happen than against the league-leading Gunners at Anfield in their next Premier League encounter.

Coutinho (hamstring) was introduced in the 61st minute of the Europa League clash with Sion on Thursday.

The return of the Brazilian would be pivotal for the Reds. They took a serious offensive dip without him, especially in the visit to St James Park. He was on fire before the injury scoring four and assisting once in his last three games. He's averaging 4.6 shots per game on the season and 2.2 successful dribbles. Liverpool have a date with the Baggies on Sunday and Coutinho could be right back in the starting line-up.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coutinho (hamstring) is in the Liverpool squad for their final Europa League group game against Swiss side Sion on Thursday, according to ESPN.

He's been waited to return for the last two Liverpool games. So, with the Reds already through to the next stage of the competition he may be spared for another game just as a precautionary measure.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coutinho (hamstring) will have a late fitness test ahead of Sunday's match against Newcastle.

There was a belief that Coutinho could have returned for Wednesday's Capital One Cup match against Southampton, but he was held out to undergo more rehab on the injury. Given the fact that he's still not been cleared, he wasn't all that close to participating. Coutinho has been an excellent fantasy option this season, though Liverpool are quite deep in the midfield to hold over until he returns.
