Coutinho (hamstring) is not in the 18-man squad to face Swansea City on Sunday.

Coutinho left last weekend's match due to the injury and apparently was unable to pass a late fitness test before the match. Jordon Ibe will move into the starting lineup in place of Coutinho, whose next opportunity to play will come Dec. 6 against Newcastle.

Coutinho left Saturday's match in the 68th minute because of a muscular injury, manager Jurgen Klopp said. "He showed not a real [injury], it was a little bit of cramp, he felt something," Klopp said. "I hope that's all, he will be very important for us, everybody can see he's in really good shape in this moment. I hope he can react well enough."

Coutinho put on a dominant performance in Saturday's 4-1 win, finishing with a goal and an assist while partnering very well with Roberto Firmino in the attack. An absence for Coutinho would be big for Liverpool, though Klopp seemed to indicate the issue wasn't serious.

Coutinho took three shots, with two on target, while scoring a goal and assisting on another during Liverpool's 4-1 rout of Manchester City on Sunday.

Coutinho partnered with Brazilian teammate Roberto Firmino exceptionally well Saturday, as the duo gave fits to the Man City back line that was centered by Eliaquim Mangala and Martin Demichelis. Coutinho has been dominant of late, as he his four goals and and assist in his last three Premier League matches. Up next in league play is a home match against Swansea City on Nov. 29.

Coutinho led Liverpool with five shots and eight completed dribbles, while scoring their lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Coutinho continues to have a breakout campaign for the Reds, as he now has four goals and two assists in 11 games played. The most impressive stat is that he has 52 shots and is proving to be Liverpool's best playmaker. Liverpool will be in for a tough matchup after the international break when they take on Manchester City on the 21st and they'l need Coutinho at top form.

Coutinho scored two goals, took four shots (two on target) and was issued a yellow card in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Chelsea.

His first goal was a work of art as the first half injury time wound to a close for his first goal in the Premier League since Aug. 9 against Stoke while his second goal put the team up 2-1. He now has three goals and two assists in 10 matches this season. He also picked up a caution, which counts as only his first of the season after picking up a double-yellow earlier in the season, which ruled him out for a match. While discipline could be a problem later in the season, the 23-year-old Brazilian should be fine for the coming weeks and months.
