Coutinho scored his third goal in his last four contests in Wednesday's EPL match against Everton.

It was a beautiful strike from Coutinho, who bent it around several bodies to find the back of the net. While he has not been in the starting XI for every Liverpool match, when he is, fantasy owners should take a hard look at including the 23-year-old in their lineups, as he has been outstanding of late and shows little sign of slowing down.

Manchester City need just a point to solidify their Champions League spot for next season, which keeps Kevin De Bruyne near the top of the midfielder rankings for the final week of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coutinho scored once on his only shot on goal in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Southampton.

Though the shot didn't hit the upper 90, it was from the distance we've come to expect from Coutinho goals. It's generally believed that he hasn't reached his peak form of last season, but Coutinho now has six goals and five assists, and that comes while playing with countless different lineup combinations in the Liverpool midfield. Based on his talent and his willingness to fire shots, Coutinho is certainly worth strong fantasy consideration in any format.

Coutinho had five shots, four on target, and a goal in Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United in the Europa League.

Coutinho’s 45th-minute goal was a brilliant chip over goalkeeper David De Gea that tied up the match and helped Liverpool advance in the Europa League. After missing time this season with a hamstring injury, Coutinho is showing signs of returning to the form that has made him one of the key players in Liverpool’s offense. He’s likely to play an important role when Liverpool face Southampton on Sunday.

Coutinho made his second straight start and earned assists on both of his key passes in Sunday's 6-0 win over Aston Villa.

After missing a month with a hamstring injury, Coutinho has played well, earning a goal and two assists in a pair of starts. The playmaker has been joined by Daniel Sturridge, who also made his return last week, in a dangerous-looking front three along with Roberto Firmino. Eighth-place Liverpool could finally see their fortunes turn now that their squad is relatively healthy, and Coutinho should continue to play an influential role, as a Feb. 28 fixture with Manchester City awaits.

Coutinho (hamstring) will feature during Tuesday's FA Cup match against West Ham, manager Jurgen Klopp said Monday.

Klopp would not let on whether Coutinho would start or not, but it's certainly encouraging that he's fit enough to make the squad and at least is in the plan to play. He noted that because extra time is a possibility, he'll have to figure out when to play Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi, who are all returning from injury. If Coutinho is able to play and doesn't suffer any setbacks, he'll have a chance to start Sunday's Premier League match against Aston Villa.

Coutinho could return from his hamstring injury for Tuesday's FA Cup match against West Ham, manager Jurgen Klopp said Friday.

Coutinho suffered the injury in early January and was expected to miss about three weeks, a timeline he's already surpassed. The Liverpool midfield has been fairly productive of late, though Coutinho shouldn't have too much trouble getting his starting spot back once he's fully fit.

Coutinho is expected to be out for at least three weeks because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Tuesday's Capital One Cup match against Stoke City, manager Jurgen Klopp said Thursday.

Coutinho's injury comes at a terrible time for Liverpool, as they are also without Jordan Henderson (foot), while forwards Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi are also dealing with hamstring injury. James Milner is recently returned from injury, which should help ease some of the blow, but fantasy owners will need to find a Coutinho alternative for a number of Premier League matches.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coutinho suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of Tuesday's Capital One Cup match versus Stoke, ESPN FC reports.

The Brazilian only lasted 18 minutes before being substituted because of the injury, and it is unclear how long he could be sidelined. Coutinho should be considered questionable at best for Friday's FA Cup match versus Exeter, with the Jan. 13 Premier League match versus Arsenal representing a more realistic return date.
