Amarikwa had one shot and an assist in 89 minutes of play during San Jose's 2-0 win over DC United.

Amarikwa continues to be a huge pickup for San Jose since coming over in a trade with the Chicago Fire. He picked up his third assist in only eight games with San Jose and has looked like a completely different player as of late. He will look to add to his impressive start with the Earthquakes next Friday at home against the LA Galaxy.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Amarikwa came away with an assist and six shot attempts, one on goal, from Friday's 1-0 win over the Rapids.

Amarikwa has come on strong of late and is seriously pestering Chris Wondolowski and Matias Perez Garcia as San Jose's most important player on offense, especially when considering that those two players only combined for two shot attempts against the Rapids. However, the Earthquakes have struggled as a whole offensively this season and were only able to muster five goals in their previous seven matches.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Amarikwa had two goals on three shots during the Earthquakes 5-2 loss to the Galaxy on Friday.

Amarikwa got the start despite coming into the game with a shoulder contusion, though San Jose is limited in the attack because Chris Wondolowski is away at the Gold Cup. He was re-acquired by the Earthquakes last week from the Fire and looks like he should get much more playing time as a result of the move.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Amarikwa (shoulder) will start in Friday's game against the Galaxy.

Amarikwa's availability for Friday's game is a bit surprising since he suffered a right shoulder contusion just a week ago. Nevertheless, he'll continue to start in place of Chris Wondolowski (international duty) for the time being.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Amarikwa has a right shoulder contusion and his status for Friday's game against the Galaxy is in question, Geoff Lepper of reports.

Amarikwa was given the start last week against the Dynamo after getting traded from the Fire where he was previously an unused substitute in three-straight games before the move out west to San Jose. He may lose his spot in the starting XI when Chris Wondolowski (international duty) rejoins the club, but it seems that his career has taken a turn for the better with this change of scenery, although he'll need to recover from his current shoulder contusion before that truly manifests.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Amarikwa will get his first start for the Earthquakes this season Friday against the Dynamo.

Friday's game is the first that Amarikwa is eligible to play after being acquired from Chicago, and he'll get the start with Chris Wondolowski away at the Gold Cup.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Amarikwa was traded to the Earthquakes on Friday in exchange for Ty Harden, reports.

Amarikwa was getting very inconsistent playing time with the Fire, and while he's not guaranteed to start immediately for the Quakes, the path to playing time seems a bit more open.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Amarikwa picked up an assist on David Accam's 28th minute goal during Chicago's 3-1 loss to D.C. United on Wednesday.

Amarikwa got the start Wednesday, just his second in the last seven matches, and picked up his first assist of the year. With a number of better fantasy options on the roster, it's tough to make a great case for Amarikwa to be on many fantasy teams despite taking 11 shots in the last four games.
