Cisse (illness) is available off the bench Saturday against Arsenal.

Cisse missed the Capital One Cup match earlier this week due to the ailment, but he was always expected to be fit for Saturday's match. Unfortunately, it seems he's lost his starting spot to Aleksandar Mitrovic, which obviously puts a huge dent in his fantasy value.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cisse is expected to be available for Saturday's match against Arsenal after missing Tuesday's Capital One Cup match against Northampton due to illness

Cisse was replaced in the starting XI by Aleksandar Mitrovic for last weekend's Premier League match, and it's unclear if manager Steve MacLaren will keep that going, or possibly start both together. Either way, Cisse's fantasy value obviously takes a hit if he becomes a part-time player.

Cisse is available off the bench Saturday against Manchester United.

Cisse started and scored in the Premier League opener against Southampton two weeks ago, but he'll move to the bench Saturday in favor of summer-signing Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Cisse took two shots, supplied five crosses and scored his first goal of the season in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Southampton.

The Senegalese striker's starting spot was in question after the acquisition of Aleksander Mitrovic, but he got the nod and had a strong game in the season opener. It remains to be seen how the Newcastle attack will look once Mitrovic is deemed ready to go, but Sunday's performance should earn Cisse another start next week versus Swansea.

Cisse is starting Sunday against Southampton.

Aleksandar Mitrovic is putting some pressure on Cisse's starting place, but with the former not quite fit enough to compete for the job, Cisse will get the opening day start.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cisse is expected to start Sunday against West Ham despite not being fully fit following recent knee surgery, the Daily Mirror reports.

Cisse has come off the bench twice since returning from his surgery, which he had during his seven-match ban for spitting on Manchester United's Jonny Evans. Newcastle need to win Sunday to ensure they avoid relegation, making Cisse's presence in the lineup of utmost importance, even if he can't go 90 minutes.

Cisse (knee) is available off the bench Saturday against West Brom.

Cisse was suspended for the last seven games, and he barely trained during his time out because of the knee injury. However, he's fit enough to be on the bench Saturday, and he could return to the starting lineup for the final two matches to help Newcastle avoid relegation.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cisse is eligible for Saturday's match against West Brom following a seven-match suspension, but he has yet to resume training after having a screw removed from his knee in March, the Hartlepool Mail reports.

Newcastle have lost every game during Cisse's suspension and are getting closer and closer to fighting off relegation. Cisse has been by far their best offensive weapon this season, but the fact that he's been unable to train for the procedure certainly puts a heavy cloud of doubt on his available for not only Saturday's match, but the two remaining after that.
