Jelavic returned to Hull City's Starting XI for Saturday's match against Chelsea. Before being subbed off in the 74th minute he was having a quiet day with just two shot attempts in the 2-0 defeat.

Since returning from injury five matches ago, Jelavic has managed to pick up just one assist despite leading Hull City in shot attempts. Some of that could be due to the tough stretch of match ups the Tigers have played. The schedule gets easier as three of Hull City's next four are at home and four of the next five are against teams currently in the bottom half of the table.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jelavic picked up an assist while also leading Hull City with three shot attempts in Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Everton.

The assist is his first on the season and should be looked at as a bonus rather than an additional source of potential fantasy production as he regularly contributes just one assisted shot per match. He continues to attempt multiple shots each game week and should be considered one of Hull City's best chances of scoring.

Jelavic paced the Hull City attack Saturday with two shots and one on target. Unfortunately, he and the Tigers were unable to score as they lost to Manchester United 3-0.

Despite missing four matches, Jelavic continues to be the most active Hull City player on the attack. He regularly leads the Tigers in shot attempts and is one of their best chances to score each week.

Jelavic played the full 90 minutes and attempted two shots during Hull City's 1-2 loss to Tottenham on Sunday.

Jelavic was making his return to the Hull City lineup after missing the previous four matches due to a knee injury. The fact that he played 90 minutes in his return shows he is back to full strength and should be considered Hull City's number one scoring option going forward.

Jelavic has stepped up his rehab and is hopeful to to return to training next week.

The international break could provide the time to allow for Jelavic to make an appearance in Hull City's next match against Tottenham. Should he return, his value may be limited as he should not be expected to receive full playing time right away. The club will likely welcome his return as they have failed to score in the past three matches and have managed just two goals since Jelavic got injured.

Jelavic is expected to miss the next four to six weeks after scans showed he suffered torn cartilage during the warm ups of the match against Arsenal, reports the Hull Daily Mail.

Jelavic could potentialy return for the November 29 match against Manchester United. While he is out, look for Abel Hernandez to see an increase in fantasy value.

Jelavic was scratched from Saturday's match against Arsenal after injuring his knee during warm ups, reports the Hull Daily Mail. Jelavic's status is still undetermined, but the injury could leave him on the sidelines for a few weeks.

Jelavic is a team leader in both shot attempts and goals scored. If he is fit to return soon, he will have a difficult go at it as four of the next five Hull City league matches are against teams in the top-half of the table.

Jelavic took a season-high five shots and scored in the 89th minute of Hull City's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Jelavic now has four goals on the season, as Hull City continue to put points on the board, scoring two goals in each of their last four Premier League matches. However, the going gets a little tough after the international break with trips to Arsenal and Liverpool.
