Taylor (rest) played the full 90 minutes for Wales in Monday's 4-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Moldova.

That was Taylor's first official game since Euro 2016. He lasted the full match and is obviously fitness ready for his season debut. The Swans are hosting Chelsea on Sunday in a tough match up where even if he starts, however, the defender probably won't boast a high fantasy upside against the prolific Blues.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Taylor will be unavailable for Saturday's match with Leicester City as he continues to build up his fitness levels.

Taylor has yet to play this season after Wales made it to the semifinals of Euro 2016. He should be available after the international break in September.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Taylor could be held out of Saturday's match against Burnley after a limited preseason following the European Championship, Wales Online reports.

Taylor's run to the semifinal with Wales left open the possibility that his season debut could be delayed, and if he sits out, Angel Rangel and Kyle Naughton could be Swansea's two starting fullbacks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Taylor started all six matches for Wales during Euro 2016, tallying one goal on five shots (three on target), 15 crosses, four tackles and one yellow card on eight fouls. He takes his international record to 34 caps and one goal. Wales' fantastic run in the tournament ended in the semifinals after a 2-0 defeat by Portugal.

Taylor was a regular starter with Swansea last season. The 27-year-old wing back, unlike for Wales, played as a left back with the Swans where he was much less successful and productive and could only find some decent fantasy value in formats with peripheral defensive stats finishing the season with one assist, eight clean sheets and 41 tackles in 34 Premier League appearances (33 starts).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Taylor and the Wales back line held Northern Ireland scoreless in Saturday's 1-0 win. Taylor didn't have a tackle, but had a shot, showing his activity on the left side.

Taylor has provided the speed along the left side for Wales and had an important block on a cross late in the match. Wales will have a tough task in the quarterfinals with Belgium looking like the next opponent.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Taylor attempted three shots and scored the second goal in Monday's 3-0 win over Russia.

Taylor was deployed in a wide role as Wales operated with three at the back, creeping forward in the 20th minute to land a shot on target and tuck his own rebound to put his side up two. Taylor is something of a peripheral character in the attack as Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey handle most of the workload, but he could provide some added value in formats that list him as a defender if he continues to play in a midfield role.

Taylor (groin) won't be available for Swansea's last two matches, according to manager Francesco Guidolin.

Taylor and Ashley Williams will both miss the remainder of the campaign for Swansea on the back line. Don't expect much from the defense in a match at West Ham and against Manchester City.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Taylor was back in the starting lineup Saturday against Chelsea and helped the Swans keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

Taylor hasn't seen consistent time in the past month, but provided plenty of value after getting a clean sheet against Chelsea. Swansea has a road match next weekend, but is in a favorable situation against Newcastle.
