Holt has signed a deal with Aston Villa to join the club on loan through the end of the season, BBC Sport reports. Holt reunites with former manager Paul Lambert, as the two were crucial to helping Norwich City gain promotion to the Premier League in the 2010-11 season.

Holt scored 23 goals in 70 Premier League matches for Norwich City and will look to help Aston Villa improve their offensive numbers. Villa were likely looking for someone to fill the role of Libor Kozak (leg), who is out for the rest of the season.

Holt latched onto a rebound in the 20th minute and Norwich held on defensively for once to beat Arsenal 1-0, their first premier league win of the season.

What more can you say? On a team that's far less talented than almost all other premier league squads, Holt has scored multiple times this season no matter who the opponent is. Until teams start realizing he's just about all you need to worry about when you play Norwich, he seems likely to continue to find the net.

Holt scored early but Chelsea roared back to claim a 4-1 win over Holt's Norwich side.

Holt is a marvel. He has a huge say in why Norwich is even in the Premier League, and he is still the most unsung, underrated striker in the league.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Holt scored a relatively meaningless goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss to Liverpool.

Meaningless goals on the pitch aren't meaningless on your fantasy squad though. Holt has been a good value all season, and he'll continue to score for the Canaries. Whether they can stop other teams from scoring seems to be the issue.
