Hart (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Southampton. "Joe Hart has a muscle injury," manager Manuel Pellegrini said Friday. "You never know as it depends how he improves but I think he will be out for 10 days."

Given the timeframe, Hart is doubtful for City's next Premier League match, which comes Dec. 5 at Stoke City. Wilfred Caballero will start in Hart's absence, with Richard Wright the backup.

After shipping two goals to West Brom last weekend, Arsenal's Petr Cech bounced back with a midweek Champions League clean sheet against Dinamo Zagreb and now faces a toothless Norwich City attack.

Hart (hamstring) will likely sit out the clash with Southampton on Saturday, according to the Telegraph.

While the English international has not been officially ruled out yet, based on theory that his current hamstring issue is related to his old back problem, the situation will probably be approached with caution and Hart will likely miss the Saturday encounter. In which case Willy Caballero will be given a redeem opportunity versus the Saints.

Hart (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury late in Wednesday's Champions League game against Juventus, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Hart was having a great day before he paid a costly price for one of his saves. The severity of the injury will remain unclear until more tests are done back at Manchester on Thursday. If the English international is due to miss any time he will be replaced by backup Wilfredo Caballero.

Hart claimed two balls and made no saves en route to a clean sheet in a scoreless draw versus Aston Villa on Sunday.

The English international had a pleasant and stress-free afternoon. Villa stood well on the pitch but thinking more of not losing the game rather than creating something they only had three shots on goal with none on target. It isnít, however, going to be as peaceful for Hart in a fortnight when rejuvenated Reds are visiting at the Etihad.

Hart conceded a goal but made two saves and added three claims in the 2-1 win over Norwich on Saturday.

Joe Hart has been Joe Hart. After making a couple of brilliant saves he almost cost his team the win after a foolish mistake that saw Cameron Jerome level the score six minutes before the end of the game. Next week heíll be expected to redeem himself by leaving no chance to disastrous Villa.

Hart made one save while keeping a clean sheet in Sunday's scoreless draw against Manchester United.

In a fairly dull Manchester derby, Hart wasn't called upon too often. However, he made one fantastic save, his only of the match, and was saved by the woodwork on another occasion. All in all, the 28-year-old kept his sixth clean sheet of the season and his 100th Premier League clean sheet for Manchester City, a remarkable total for someone with just 240 caps. He'll look to make it two-in-a-row when they take on Norwich City next weekend.

Hart made no saves and conceded one goal in Saturday's 5-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Bournemouth took just five shots and only one was on target. That shot also got past Hart. He hasn't recorded a clean sheet in a long time, and this seemed like a perfect opportunity; however, Glenn Murray's howler made it past him. City gets Sevilla mid-week in the Champions League before returning to Premier League play in the Manchester derby.

Hart made three saves and conceded one goal in Saturday's 6-1 victory over Newcastle.

Hart conceded early on a goal that wasn't at all his fault and then kept the margin at just one with a fantastic save. From there, Sergio Aguero took over and Hart wasn't needed much any more. Hart also wore the armband and captained the team to a resounding victory. He'll look for his first clean sheet in more than a month when City takes on Bournemouth after the international break.
