Williams has scored one goal and has averaged 1.7 tackles and 1.1 interceptions through six Premier League appearances (five starts) this season.

Williams developed a reputation as one of the better defenders in the English game with Swansea, and he has now solidified the Toffees back line to the tune of four goals in the six matches he has played. His arrival has pushed Ramiro Funes Mori to the bench, although the latter could start Saturday versus Manchester City if Phil Jagielka (thigh) is unable to play.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams had four tackles and seven clearances in Saturday's 1-0 win over Stoke.

It was a sparkling debut for the Welsh captain. His biggest moment of the game was drawing the penalty that led to the game's only goal. He looks a natural fit next to fellow EPL veteran Phil Jagielka. Williams was always a good fantasy CB at Swansea and his value is even better now at Everton.

Williams faces a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's match against West Brom, manager Ronald Koeman said on Thursday.

Williams had a delayed preseason after reaching the semifinal of the European Championship with Wales, and while he is close to fitness, it could be one more week before he starts. If he is unable to get in the first XI, Mason Holgate will likely start again in a back-three with Phil Jagielka and Ramiro Funes Mori.

Williams will not play on Saturday against Spurs, manager Ronaldo Koeman confirmed on Thursday.

Williams' preseason was delayed after a semifinal run with Wales in the European Championship, and while he is likely to start as soon as he is fit, he's simply not ready yet. Phil Jagielka is expected to be in the first XI alongside Ramiro Funes Mori.

Williams signed a three-year contract with Everton on Wednesday after transferring from Swansea City.

Williams spent the past eight seasons with Swansea, and he recently captained Wales to the semifinal of the European Championship. His arrival comes soon after Everton sold John Stones to Manchester City for 50 million, and he will likely start alongside Ramiro Funes Mori, with Phil Jagielka also a possibility.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Swansea has rejected a 10 million transfer bid for Williams from Everton, according to the Daily Mail.

The club said they are not looking to sell the defender. Everton manager Ronald Koeman had identified Williams as a summer target, but will now have to decide whether to increase the offer or find another defensive option.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams started all six matches for Wales during Euro 2016, scoring one goal on seven shots, with two on target and adding 11 tackles and five fouls. He takes his international record to two goals in 65 caps. Wales' fantastic run in the tournament ended in the semifinals after a 2-0 defeat by Portugal.

Williams was excellent bolstering the Swansea squad in a trying campaign last season. The 31-year-old center back held a decent fantasy upside, as well, as he finished the season with two goals, one assist, nine clean sheets and 68 tackles in 36 Premier League starts.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams won three tackles, attempted four shots and scored his side's opening goal in Friday's 3-1 win over Belgium.

The central defender got forward and was a menace on set-pieces, connecting with an Aaron Ramsey cross to pull even in the 30th minute. Williams has been essential to Wales' fairy tale run to the semi-finals, as he has helped his side produce a defensive record of 0.8 goals against per game in addition to his crucial strike, and he will look to help secure another improbable win as they take on Portugal Wednesday.
