Wickham (ribs) is not in the 18-man squad to face Watford on Sunday.

Manager Alan Pardew noted Friday that Wickham was fit but that he wouldn't start the match, so it's a bit surprising he didn't even make the bench. Dwight Gayle will start as the No. 9, while Wickham will have to wait until next Saturday against West Brom to return.

Wickham (ribs) will not start Sunday against Watford, manager Alan Pardew told the Croydon Advertiser.

Wickham (ribs) could make the bench for Sunday's trip to Watford. "Connor definitely won't start," manager Alan Pardew said, when asked about the striker's status. Wickham has missed almost an entire month of action since suffering the injury in the 2-1 win at Chelsea. When he's fit, the Englishman will lead the line for Pardew and can be relied upon for goals given the potent midfield Crystal Palace possesses.

Wickham (knock) is not in the 18-man squad to face Spurs on Sunday.

Manager Alan Pardew said Friday that Wickham may be able to return, but he apparently didn't show enough since then to warrant even a spot on the bench. Patrick Bamford is on the bench, leaving Bakery Sako to lead the line, with Yannick Bolasie also starting.

Wickham (undisclosed) could be fit for Sunday's trip to Tottenham, according to manager Alan Pardew.

Wickham (undisclosed) will be back in training Saturday and a decision will then be made by manager Alan Pardew. Wickham is Pardew's top striker and once he gets going will contribute goals considering the supply line that Palace have in midfield.
