RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Elmohamady (back spasms) has withdrawn from Egypt's upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Botswana, reports the Hull Daily Mail. He suffered the injury during last Saturday's match against Crystal Palace, but Hull City's training staff are hopeful he will be fit to play Arsenal when the club returns to action after the international break.

Elmohamady is currently second on Hull City for assists (two) and assisted shots (seven) through seven matches this season. He had a team high three assisted shots against Crystal Palace last weekend and has created an attempt in four consecutive matches. If he is fit to return after the international break, he will face a tough opponent in Arsenal. He may still create chances, but odds are they will not turn into goals.

Elmohamady sent in a cross that was finished by teammate Nikica Jelavic for Hull City's first goal in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Newcastle United.

Elmohamady now has assists in two consecutive matches for Hull City. His pace should not be considered sustainable as he has now tied his career high with two assists during a Premier League season.

Elmohamady was credited with the assist when his cross was headed in by Abel Hernandez during Monday's 2-2 draw against West Ham United.

Goals and assists are not to be expected regularly from Elmohamady who plays much deeper than you would like for your fantasy midfielder. Through four matches, he has just one shot attempt and two assisted shots.

Elmohamady was shown a yellow card for a hard tackle on Aston Villa midfielder, Jack Grealish, in Sunday's match. The yellow card is his first on the season.

Elmohamady has played the full 90 minutes in each of Hull City's three league matches this season. He is not expected to provide much fantasy value as he is not involved much in the Tigers' attack.
