Arsenal is expected to extend Bellerin's contract after the defender successfully worked his way into the first team as a replacement for injured Mathieu Debuchy, according to the Daily Mail.

Bellerin's current contract is due to expire in 2017, but Arsenal is thought to be interested in putting forth a longer-term agreement. Bellerin is a 19-year-old who has made 17 appearances for the team this season.

Bellerin (ankle) was an unused substitute for Saturday's match against Crystal Palace.

Bellerin came in with an ankle injury and was replaced by Calum Chambers, but the former could get his starting job back for Wednesday's Champions League match against Monaco.

Bellerin is dealing with an ankle injury and will have a late fitness test to determine his availability for Saturday's Premier League match at Crystal Palace, manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday.

Bellerin has been a solid piece of the Gunners' back line of late, but if he is unable to play, Calum Chambers would likely get the start at right back.

Bellerin started Sunday's match against Aston Villa, securing a clean sheet while also scoring a second-half goal during extra time.

Bellerin seems to have supplanted fellow 19-year-old Calum Chambers as Arsenal's preferred right-back in the absence of Mathieu Debuchy (shoulder), as the Spaniard has now started back-to-back Premier League games. In doing so, Bellerin has posted a pair of clean sheets and impressed going forward as well. Those impressions were best evidenced Sunday, when Bellerin opened his Gunners' scoring account with a perfectly placed goal in the final moments of a 5-0 victory. As long as Bellerin remains in the starting XI, he makes for a fantastic fantasy value given his cheap price in most formats.

Manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday that despite dealing with ankle soreness, Bellerin should be available for Sunday's FA Cup match against Brighton.

Bellerin has come on of late in place of the injured Mathieu Debuchy (shoulder), and while he will get plenty of competition from Calum Chambers, he makes for a decent fantasy play given his depressed price in salary cap formats.

Bellerin picked up an assist in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Newcastle United.

While the offensive push was nice to see - Bellerin had a handful of inspired runs for the evening - he's obviously paid to defend, and that's something he did well on Saturday, too. Bellerin had been somewhat spotty in his earlier playing time this year (admittedly, sporadic playing time), but the teenager took a step forward with this showing. Arsenal doesn't need a major contribution from Bellerin, reasonable health present, but it would be lovely to see him emerge as a credible depth option while he learns the nuances of the game.

Bellerin is in the starting XI for Arsenal's Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

With Mathieu Debuchy (ankle), Nacho Monreal (back) and Callum Chambers (tonsillitis) all sidelined, Bellerin gets his first career Champions League start in Germany. Chambers and Monreal don't figure to be out long, so Bellerin's time in the starting XI could be short-lived.

With Mathieu Debuchy out with an ankle injury, Nacho Monreal dealing with a back ailment and Callum Chambers battling tonsillitis, Bellerin could see some playing time Saturday against Aston Villa, according to the club's official site.

Manager Arsene Wenger said Monday that Bellerin "is now ready to play," though a number of things have to go wrong for Arsenal in their back line for him to see significant playing time.
