Lamela scored on two shots (both on goal) and added seven crosses and a yellow card in Sunday's 5-1 season finale loss to Newcastle.

Lamela was the only bright spot in a very dispirited and uninspired Spurs team. He scored with a fantastic shot from a small angle to give a glimmer of hope to his team. Yellow card was the only remark that spoiled what could've been a very solid fantasy production from the winger. Lamela has been gradually improving his overall performance as the season was progressing and could be a hidden fantasy gem for the next campaign. He finishes his year with five goals, nine assists and nine yellow cards in 34 Premier League appearances (28 starts) adding six goals in eight Europa League appearances to his total tally.

Lamela was one of the few bright spots in a tired Spurs side. He's been quite the statistical monster of late and managed to add to his run of assists getting up to four assists and a goal in his last five games and 10 goals and nine assists on the season across all competitions. He'll get one more opportunity to increase his fantasy tally this season against a much improved of late, though, still fairly soft defense of Newcastle next Sunday.

Lamela (calf) is likely available for Sunday's match against Manchester United.

In one of the biggest matches left on Spurs' schedule, they'll want as many attacking options available as possible and after sitting out last week thanks to his national team match, Lamela should be back in the fold on Sunday. He has nine goals in 38 matches across all comps, but just three of those have come in the Premier League while he's also picked up five assists in domestic play.

Lamela tallied an assist and was issued a yellow card in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

For the 67 minutes he was on the pitch, Lamela was a whirling dervish of energy, sprinting onto every ball and generally wrecking havoc. It was his tenacity that saw him almost break duck on 26 minutes if it wasn't for a reflex save by David Ospina. He then supplied the assist on the first goal by pushing the ball to Toby Alderweireld. His tenacity almost got the better of him as, sitting on a booking, was flagged for another challenge, which likely helped prompt his removal. He has nine goals and six assists in 34 matches across all comps, but is sitting on seven bookings in the Premier League, something that may be worth watching moving forward.
