Lamela crossed in a ball that Toby Alderweireld headed in for Tottenham's only goal in their 2-1 loss to Monaco. Lamela finished with one shot, five successful tackles and six corners taken.

Lamela has been a consistent presence for Spurs' midfield this season and will have two favorable matches next in league play against Sunderland and Middlesbrough.

DraftKings Fantasy Soccer: Saturday EPL Cheat Sheet

A number of Liverpool players have found the back of the net early this season, but RotoWire's Alex Spalding is focused on Roberto Firmino against Hull City on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lamela tallied an assist and conceded a penalty in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

Lamela has looked far more positive in the early goings this season even as Spurs have sputtered a bit; however, this was a first half to forget for the Argentine. In the waning moments of the first half, he conceded a penalty, tripping Roberto Firmino right on the edge of the box, that James Milner then converted. In the second half, with time and space, he picked out Danny Rose on a well-weighted ball, who made no mistake and put the ball in the back of the net for the equalizer. Lamela finished last season with nine assists in the Premier League including four in Spurs' last six matches and his creativity looks on full display early this season as well.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lamela won two tackles, put in two crosses and scored a goal on three shot attempts during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Everton.

Lamela struggled to impact the game early, but he came to life in the second half and scored an excellent diving header to level the match in the 59th minute. Lamela enjoyed a breakout season a year ago, and he seems to have picked up right where he left off after Saturday's performance. He will have the opportunity to build off of his strong start next Saturday versus Crystal Palace.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lamela netted Argentina's fourth goal of the night on his lone shot and committed one foul coming in play off the bench in Saturday's 4-1 Copa America Centenario Venezuela romp.

Lamela is turning into the golden sub for Argentina. That's his second goal of the tournament and he's been very sharp and effective every minute of his limited playing time. He'll probably continue starting on the bench, though, where he'll have a much more limited fantasy upside.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lamela scored on his only shot of the game during Argentina's 3-0 win over Bolivia on Tuesday.

The Tottenham playmaker was quite active against Bolivia, and he made a case for starting in the upcoming games considering Di Maria is dealing with a thigh injury. His fantasy upside could be pretty high as long as he manages to see time on the pitch, something that could be high considering the depth and talent Argentina possesses on the attack.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lamela is starting Tuesday versus Bolivia.

Lamela replaced Di Maria in both previous games and with the latter one injured the former is given opportunity for some extensive playing time. Lamela is very creative and finished the season with Tottenham in top form, his fantasy upside versus inferior Bolivia should be very high.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lamela scored on two shots (both on goal) and added seven crosses and a yellow card in Sunday's 5-1 season finale loss to Newcastle.

Lamela was the only bright spot in a very dispirited and uninspired Spurs team. He scored with a fantastic shot from a small angle to give a glimmer of hope to his team. Yellow card was the only remark that spoiled what could've been a very solid fantasy production from the winger. Lamela has been gradually improving his overall performance as the season was progressing and could be a hidden fantasy gem for the next campaign. He finishes his year with five goals, nine assists and nine yellow cards in 34 Premier League appearances (28 starts) adding six goals in eight Europa League appearances to his total tally.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lamela lit up the stats sheet with an assist, two shots off target, four dribbles and seven crosses in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Southampton.

Lamela was one of the few bright spots in a tired Spurs side. He's been quite the statistical monster of late and managed to add to his run of assists getting up to four assists and a goal in his last five games and 10 goals and nine assists on the season across all competitions. He'll get one more opportunity to increase his fantasy tally this season against a much improved of late, though, still fairly soft defense of Newcastle next Sunday.
